and two friends (gold 3 and plat 5)
I am onyx 1533
I have never been able to hit onyx by myself. I always end up talking into a “dead” mic, to a team who don’t communicate or reply and that leaves me frustrated and, ultimately, playing by myself.
Ranked is a “team effort”. What stats DONT tell you is what we are talking about. The stress! The “2 on B; one weak”, the “hold it back and push separate”, the “HELP ME IM DYING - ARRRRRGH!”
How valuable is it to know that you’re around the corner from a guy with a shotgun, rockets or scattershot? How important is it to know that the ball guy is “one shot”?
Pretty valuable I’d say.
Now - I want you to look at my stats (moist morsel - halotracker) and consider this important question….
Am I “boosting”?
Looks like a “yes” doesn’t it?
Well….Think about it more….
All I really wanted to say was:

Playing with people who enjoy your company is often better than looking for people who are “as good as you”
