I’m doing a machinima and I’m trying to have my elite do the assassination in halo reach where it slashes a spartan and then spin kicks them. You might know this better as the 300 or “This Is Sparta” assassination. However, after 2 hours, I can’t seem to get it to work and it’s important to the skit. Does anybody know any requirements for either the player or the one they’re assassinating to pull it off correctly
it does by how aggresive the player is or how much score point they have like when you do assassination tower just let the players farm then do for the one with the highest score thats how it works for me it is rare to get that assassination and is also hard their is mainly a specific way you gotta stand in order for this to happen as well it was VERY difficult for me to get this but mainly when you see someone running luckly the elites are faster and can jump greater distances than spartans because you know sangheili are the best species in all of halo but sadly BUNGIE TOOK THE PLAYABLE ELITES OUT!!!

Yeah, it’s a certain way you stand. My favorite one is as a Spartan you have to jump before you assassinate then it will show your character jumping on the elites skull.
Most, if not all the assassinations, are chosen based on how and where your character is performing the assassination in relation to your target. And if multiple assassinations are set for one particular relation of the twp players, then I think it picks one from random. It also depends on the species of your target too…since some assassinations are performed when a certain species assassinates another in a certain relation between the two. As for that particular “Elite Heel Kick” animation, obviously it can only be performed by an Elite character and you have to be coming up behind your target in just the right way.
