Step 1 - Standard vs Premium
Simply copy what Rainbow Six Siege does but do it better. For example, the standard pass is mostly boosters, and the occasional unlock of a cosmetic item.
The premium is like 95% new stuff every tier and 5% a booster pack for a tier.
Let us pay $10-$15 for Battle Pass Premium.
And of course when the season ends, the Battle Pass SHOULD STAY like it does in MCC.
In which case, the Battle Pass should be like Among Us’ passes. Wherein you choose which one is active and upon completion of a match/challenges; you progress up that specific pass for items you desire even though its season is done.
Step 2 - Shoulders
MCC gave us BOTH shoulders in a single tier, while the current battle pass system gives us only one shoulder at a time. I alrady unlocked ODST shoulder piece, why do I need to unlock it AGAIN ? Honestly that is just filler for the sake of being filler.
Step 3 - Post-Pass Bonuses
Once you reach tier 100 of an active pass, just copy something similar to what Rainbow Six Siege is doing. For every 5 tiers we go up past 100, we should get a reward.
Perhaps it is Credits to spend in the store?
Or maybe it is a skin that we missed from a Twitch Prime drop a month ago?
Or maybe it is a secret Visor color?
Something goofy like the Olive or Timmy helmets?
Or maybe a cosmetic found in the bundles and upon unlocking this through the surplus tier unlock, should the bundle enter the shop again it should be at a discount since we already possess part of the bundle?
Step 4 - Event Passes Shouldn’t Require Challenges
For the love of the rings, this is so aggravating to progress up 10 tiers exclusively by completing challenges and grinding matches, HOPING to get your menial task done. It gets especially annoying when your challenge is something like “Get 10 assists in Fiesta”, so you purposefully have to hold back and let your teammate get the kill. Or heavens forbid the “Revive 3 teammates in Attrition” Challenge that is nearly impossible to do.
There we go.
Fixes some issues.
