How to decisivly ban a credit booster?

Hey all,
I recently caught a credit booster in a firefight game on Overlook.
I filed a complaint, but are there more steps to decisvely marking him for banning?

File a complaint and move on.

PS: He or She probably got banned anyway for doing that.

Wow. Are you a trainee in the Police Academy? Sure, he was boosting. You filed a complaint, move on. I’d say that would be a bit overkill if you tried to get him in any more trouble.

I just wanted to make sure that it was possible he could be banned.
I don’t hold grudges against these things, I just want to make sure i’m going through the process correctly.
It’s the first time I reported anyone.

Also depends on how you define "Credit Booster). I define it by someone who stands there doing nothing or running hide in an area and has no kills those I report.

Now me at least on overlook and one other map, I’ll load out with sniper and sit in an area and shoot away pulling my weight (thats not boosting in my opinion), but working on getting my perfections done, some have token exception to that and take pot shots at me or try and lead the covenent to me, but if they would just ck on going score they would see that I have as many kill points or more then they have

I understand what a credit booster is.
And all they did was stand there and do nothing.

Ok, also Sorry , after rereading what I typed, I should have typed “how some people define” and not “how you define”. some people do take exception (calling it boosting)to how I play those couple of maps and it’s not.

Here’s your steps:

  1. Ignore him. Don’t even bother filing a complaint as that does nothing. People know how to avoid the ban system in Halo. All you do is get one kill then hide as the game bans people for zero kills in X amount of games.
  2. Grow up.
  3. Stop caring about how others play the game.
  4. Profit!!
