I got the Twitch drop nameplate yesterday on my Twitch account. I linked it with my Xbox account but the nameplate is not showing up in game. Do I need to put in a code or something?

If you’re linked it should be an automatic process.
Might want to check your inventory or notifications on Twitch to be absolute certain though.
For the upcoming HCS event, do we have to watch for one hour to get all of the coatings? Or is it one hour per day for a coating per day?

I’ve got the same issue.
Twitch and Halo are linked, I earned the emblem and claimed it. But it doesn’t show in game 
I’m guessing it’s just another thing that’s broken? Gonna suck if we can’t get the coatings because of it.

It says I’m connected to twitch here on waypoint, but in twitch it doesn’t show that I am. I logged out, cleared cache and Data but nothing works. Anyone else run into this?

Same issue here, is there any update on how to get the nameplate? Same issue just happened with the weapon coating too.
Yep. Same here. Waypoint says my twitch is connected but under my connections in Twitch settings, it’s not listed. I’ve got no idea.

Here is what I have learned since my last posting.
- You have to link a Twitch account to your Halo Waypoint profile
- You earn all 3 weapon coatings at once for watching 1 hour of the broadcast on the main Halo channel Friday-Saturday
- You earn all 3 armor coatings at once for watching 1 hour of the broadcast on a co-stream channel Friday-Saturday
- You earn the Victory Post by watching 1 hour of the main channel on Sunday only.
Twitch Drops has a convenient progress page where you can see how much longer you have to watch.
You can only earn progress on one stream at a time.
(I also heard that muting the stream impacts it - but you can mute your web browser on your computer / phone and that shouldn’t impact it)

Twitch drops seem to be pretty buggy. I have claimed both armor and weapon skins on twitch side, but on waypoint and in-game, I only see the armor skin with no weapon skin in sight.

To piggy back to this:
Once claimed on Twitch they should appear in your redeem history on HaloWaypoint after a short period of time.
I had no issues collecting the Armor or Weapons coatings and would be happy to answer any questions.

doesnt help the fact that on halo i still dont have the nameplate after completing every step lol smh

Yes I had heard there were issues with that Milk nameplate. I unfortunately was unaware of it and didn’t try to get it.
Hearing those reports I was nervous the drops this week would also be buggy.
They did seem to work for me and I think I have a good grasp of what players need to do - however there do seem to be some issues still. I am just hoping I can help / 343i are able to resolve any issues

Ok the 343 account tie doesn’t work, you need to link your microsoft or steam account to it not the 343.
doing so will glitch it so that you can not get teh drops.

You get all 3 weapon coatings for watching 1 hour of the official stream, all 3 armor coatings for 1 hour of a co-stream, and the stance for 1 hour of the official stream on Sunday.
