How to build halos community

Instead of unlocking armor randomly (like in halo 5) I think we should earn it. For example, if you beat the laso campaign, then you get a cool helmet or something. Or, if you make a map with more than 1000 downloads you get an anvil emblem. Then when you wear that armor or have that emblem people will know what part of the community you are part of. Not only does this give more reason to continue playing the game, but it draws in new potential fans. For example, let’s say a halo YouTuber did a video on how to unlock a cool piece of armor. That video gets into someone’s feed who never knew about halo and then wants to play it. Halo infinite gets free advertising!

i watched this but sadly this most likey isn’t the case helmets will be a micro transaction (most likely) considering how they have been confirmed sadly as much as i like that idea i don’t think it will be put into the game i hope it does though

They’ve confirmed some form of paid MTX integration, however this doesn’t deconfirm the return of a more progression-driven cosmetic unlock system- if, for example, they decided to reintroduce a form of the cR system from Reach (please do this, 343i), one of the least problematic ways to do paid MTX would be to allow players to essentially purchase cR instead of having to grind for it, without taking away the option of simply grinding for it. This isn’t perfect for a number of reasons, but it’s a lot less pernicious of a system than the random lootboxes in H5 and a lot of other AAA multi-player games on the market today.

Thats about the best case scenario I can imagine.

Reach’s Armour unlock system or even the way it was implemented into halo mcc.
