How do you build a reputation and get noticed. Im chasing a dream of one day of going pro and play on the big stage. As of right now I have no idea where to start. I dont have friends that can dedicate to a team and play consistently, so most of the time Im stuck with playing with randoms. What I am thinking right now is to find players or a team that is dedicated to play through these upcoming Halo pro league/Challenger league. I am not actually sure if that is the best way to achieve my dream of getting picked up by a pro team. If anyone knows how to go about going pro please message me. I will surely appreciate the advice. Thank you
Go find a Spartan Company. Makes some friends who play in there, then start doing clan battles or something like that. Maybe do some tournaments as well if you can find any.
Thanks. I had that in mind as well. What about the MLG website I created an account on that website but not sure on how to build stats and rep on profile.
yea i would highly MLG.com i went there and got a decent group of people, if not just ask around… if not im free all the time and playing alot, My tag is xXBlueCreamXx
Try inviting players that performed well after games until you can find some good team mates that you can play with often. Being a pro solo won’t get you noticed, being part of a talented fireteam and calling your team something extremely dumb (srsly the pros need some pr guys to come up with better names… Dinosaurs? Really?) can make a big enough splash to be noticed. Also start regularly posting your highlight clips, you won’t get noticed via positive kda alone, you need style, grace, and social media.
Go to game battles and play over there. They have some decent to really skilled players over there. You will meet some really good players and you may team with them. From there u just got to prove that your nasty at the game and some better teams might want to pick u up to play with. It will be like a ladder to climb up to the top. Best of luck to you!
Streaming is a good way to get an audience and get your name out there if you’re trying to start from scratch. Be warned though, most successful streamers are also entertainers, if you don’t engage your audience, you will lose them.
Thank you everyone I really appreciate your input. I’ll take from what the information you all have given me.

ill definitely hit you up. Ive been playing with some people from Team beyond as well as GB but I’ve just been having issues with people schedules, skill levels and commitment. I had a team but they all slip because one player schedule was really jacked up and one just wants to play and not compete. So my friend that was semi pro in halo 3 (that is really good) got tired of it and just retired from FPS. This is all I’ve been dealing with since I’ve made this post.
Provided your good, you should start creating content for Youtube whether that be tips and tricks, montages, forge creations whatever. Once you’ve built up a decent following on youtube, migrate them over to twitch and twitter and continue to expand your audience. Ask to do collabs with other Halo content creators while your at it and eventually you will get recognized. Remember patience is key. Most of the Halo guys I watch such as Vetoed, Kampy, Jimbo and Rippin have taken years to get where they are.
Actually, dude MLG is not where to start. I’d do what Iknow lVlagic is saying! Build a YouTube and start uploading edited professional stuff. Go ESL dude and compete in the open tourney stuff. Get your team and do that. If your team is truly that good you’ll be showing yourself in front of EG and CLG etc if you happen to seed and play them or if you make it that far in a tourney. Each season (fall, winter, summer etc) will have its own pro split. So, you should have plenty of opportunities. You just need to capitalize with your team. This is the quickest way, but definitely put your halo stuff on YouTube even if it gets no views. Patience is key and consistency rewards on YouTube its proven.
