All right so here’s the thing, I do pretty well in Super Fiesta MM, despite the poor map rotation/design, here’s my secret:

First get a small group of your friends together for a customs night/day/afternoon

Second, create a custom Super Fiesta mode witht the following settings:
Enable shields recharge while sprinting, disable stopping power, enable reload while sprinting, disable radar, disable Spartan Charge, disable weapon dropping AND weapon pickup, disable vehicles, disable grenades, disable power ups, max out both reload speeds (optional), and most importantly, ONLY play on custom made Forge Maps, NEVER play on the dev/MM maps, this will help you to stay alert at all times and rely more on your weapons than abilities, it also forces you to think more strategically, look for “Pure Madness Alt” on my fileshare if you just want the mode pre made. Trust me though, if you wanna practice for the next time Super Fiesta hits matchmaking, just follow these steps. Also one more step, PLAY DAILY, don’t just do one game a week, I work in about 6 to 7 custom Super Fiesta 100 point matches a day, it helps you to learn how to use each weapon properly as well.

Try to get them to reinstall it for custom game nights, that usually works for me, I have about 3-4 friends I play customs with regularly.

Unfortunately, nobody has any interest in the game anymore. Plus, with monthly data caps, I doubt that anybody wants to spend 75% of their bandwidth on the game…
People have Super Fiesta strats?
If there’s a gametype that I play consistently, mostly due to it being my wife’s favorite gametype, it’s Super Fiesta. The biggest issue I’ve gotten, as well as the majority of players (probably) is my constant spawning with Plasma Pistols and Needler… Not the good kinds. lol

Remember how I told you when I’m really bored I purposely try to start arguments on waypoint…
Well remember this, these strategies don’t always work depending on the map/situation, a rocket vs plasma pistol in MM, the rocket will always win as you have to deal with enemy teammates shooting you as well, while in customs if it’s a 1v1, you can flank someone with the plasma pistol, customs kinda balances the game out more than MM, not less chaotic, just more fun.

I just can’t bring myself to like fiesta. It’s fun and all but I get so annoyed spawning with power weapons that require charging to fire. Really? Spartan Laser? AIN’T NO BODY GOT TIME FOR DAT!!!

What about the Endgame or Selene’s Lance? I spawn with those more than the basic splaser and tbh Railgun has an early fire time if you know how to do it.
