I I’d like to start off by saying that I do not not win every round of firefight nor do I play in a fireteam for it all the time. I do however have 2 or 3 mates to play that really help out. I’ll go through some of the hardest objectives in FF and give you tips and tricks on how to beat them. Make sure to leave any tips and tricks below as well as any other objectives you think are difficult.
First off is the defend the armoury rounds on round 1. The seem was until you realize that half the armoury has been captured before you cam get their. This one is almost always beaten but I thought Id add it to the list to make it quicker and easier. First thing to keep in mind is that a mongoose or a scout hog are only 1 req level. You need at least 3 people to rush the top of the armoury and kill the promeatheans at the top and then grenade and shoot while poking in and out of cover the promeatheans below. Make sure that you pick up any splinter nades that dropped because the are extremely important if the entrances are getting swamped. By the time you’ve cleared out most of the armoury splinter turret soldiers will spawn and if your unlucky knights. Simply keep shooting the soldiers because they don’t seem to fire while you do and them just pick up the splinter turret and spam the other soldier and what’s left of the base.

Banshee raiders on apex 7.
this would be what I consider the hardest round 2 objective in the game. Most people dont even have brs by then and even if you do they aren’t that helpful. Something a lot of people forget are the handheld turrets. They absolutely shred the banshees. Make sure that someone else is shooting the target banshee so it doesn’t get it shields back and the person with the turret is close to cover so they can thrust away from a banshee strafing run. -
The soldier knights on darkstar.
This level is just miserable when you get it however with the tips it will be easy. The best weapon against these mantises are team fire and an oni warthog. Team fire seems to glitch the mantis out and the oni in the right spot will melt the mantis. By then everyone should have railguns and rockets which both do great damage against the mechs as well. Something to keep in mind is that everyone should be on one mantis at a time because if your separated the mantises will get their health and shields back quickly. -
3 wardens in the base.
it is extremely important that you take the enemy legendries out quickly for this one so you have as much time with the wardens as possible. One of the best tricks for the wardens on the side is that someone can actually lure him to jump off of his platform and into the line of sight of waiting scorpions. This can be done with the legendries but not the mythic so you just have to hope that you killed the legendries quick enough. You’ll be left with one mythic warden which an oni warthog can be maneuvered to shoot as well as a ghost ultra. -
deacon pipap on sanctum.
Wraiths is what I can’t stress enough. They are maneuverable and can get away from the grunts special attack and can also be devastating to his health. Make sure you kill the surrounding wraiths and some knights first. The knights one shot with their incineration cannons and the cannons are useful to be picked up. -
The 2 grunt goblins stormbreak.
Scorpions, wraiths and ghost ultras are the best way to take these out. You going to want half of the team on each goblin and the rest in pretty self explanatory. -
The 4 hunters on apex (round 3)
this is by far the hardest round 3 objective and with it comes some frustration. The reason the level is so hard is because of the banshees and knights surrounding the hunters. Make sure (I can’t stress this enough) that you take out the banshees before you do anything else (they deal the most damage). After that you can sneak around the back where the water is and shoot the hunters in the back while the others are distracting for a lot of damage.
some general tips: Ghost ultras and oni warthog are actually very good because they are maneuverable and can fit into bases are are actually very strong and deal a lot of damage. Railguns are good for banshees as well as turrets. Weapons that the enemy drop are often the most effective at killing them and most of all tank beats everything.
EDIT: I’d also like to add that scout warthogs are also very effective on earlier rounds they splatter everything up to knight size and if you are in an oni you’ll survive multiple rounds in it. Ghost ultras have a lot of health and are also great for splattering but can deal a lot of damage by themselves. Banshees are actually really good against the wardens in the base if you are a good pilot. Another useful tip is to shoot knights ‘wings’ because once one breaks off it will scream at you and expose its face for a one shot kill. Scattershots are good for jackals because it tracks and they get knocked back exposing their head. Plasma pistols are good for powerful vehicle enemies and shielded ones. The final tip for this edit is that you can actually splatter elite and soldier bosses even if they are legendary.
