How To Avoid JIP Guide.

When getting JIP’ed

Press Start> Settings & Files>Network> Choose: My Xbox and then choose again Xbox Live restart search.

Now please stop making 100 threads about JIP and mourn about it just use this and lets keep the forum nice and clean.

This is a useful tip and I’ve also been trying to spread it around.

I’m just curious about whether or not using this trick effects your CSR.

u sir deserve, a nobel peace prize of Halo

(no im serious, many people didn’t know how to avoid JIP)

and for the ones asking, no…don’t have effects on CSR cuz is before join the match

Now I just need everyone to see this thread

Good tip. I’ll definitely try this next time I’m about to get JiP’d. I’m tired of joining in on the losing team but I guess I don’t have to suffer anymore now

BTW couldn’t you just dashboard from the game? I know this works faster and better I’m just saying this is probably another solution if you somehow can’t do the network switch in time.

There’s plenty of time to do it.

here is GREAT video that explains it too.

I meant that if the UNSC loading screen has popped up, couldn’t dashboarding be a backup in case you forgot to do the first method? Or is it too late by then?

> here is GREAT video that explains it too.

Yeah… that’s exactly what I said… I don’t think a video is really necessary as it is a really simple action to do.

By then I think its too late.

I do this all the time. For those asking, no it doesn’t affect your CSR.

I do it all the time, the funny part is i do it, re search, and it promptly tries to put me into the same game. At which point I do it again, and it puts me in the same game on and on and on…

Many thanks (no seriously I thanked you for this thread)

It’s funny how the Halo community avoids a feature, which is common and welcome in most other games and people here evenm helping out each other by posting guides in the official forums xD.

I guess 343i has no clue of how to implement a feature right or fixing problems like the people who quit so often in Reach. I support this topic btw.

JIP sucks in Halo 4 and was NOT a solution for all the quitters. People in my matches quit at least as much as in Reach.

given the number of steps that you showed us, perhaps we should be writing threads on how it should be made an option so we never have to go through those ridiculous steps every time. I mean it is a pain in the butt as I am simply trying to get into a party.

JIP is not there to stop quitters. Its there because people keep quitting. If people are quitting at least as much as in reach then thats exactly why JIP is an important and necessary feature.

You either have to have harsh quit penalties - which I’m sure you’d all complain about too (because god knows this community loves complaining), or you try to compensate for the people who insist on quitting every time they are losing by having JIP.

I’ve got a solution for you all. Stop dropping out of lobbies.

Since H2 the lack of JIP had baffled me.

It doesn’t, you have to be a registered member of the match in order for your CSR to go up or down. If you dodge JIP in time you never register to the match. Also if you don’t vote during a lobby and get locked in you can leave without penalty.

This thread will probably be locked as you are not allowed to discuss “exploits” on the forum.

I’ve tried that a few times. It worked in some cases, but others, i was sent into the same game. But it does work
