Yeah, have something unlockable that requires skill. Not SUPER skill, but enough skill in perseverance - and obviously, require the ability to kill.
Have unlockables that are hard to unlock.

hey 343? you know what us casuals want? we don’t want weapon nerfs/buffs/op weapons etc, we want action sack back as well as community maps back on matchmaking, we also want infection and race gametypes back, you want to appeal to the casuals? then do this, i don’t want the game to be made easier i want it to be made more fun, if it was too hard i wouldn’t have enjoyed halo 3.
oh and bring back the social playlist so we can play with people who want to have fun, not people who want to buff their k/d oh and social playlists have no stats so tryhards wouldn’t go on it.

People prematurely complained about a lot of things that ended up being complained about after the game release. And 343 hasn’t really done much about it.

No actual point - you don’t get any bragging rights or permanent things - you just get XP which takes no skill to achieve, and something only you and nobody else can see.
Which really does nothing, does it? Its the reason why I don’t go online and say, ‘HAH! Check out my energy sword mastered commendation!’
No point. You can’t share your achievement with anyone except those who really care. And in a casual game of Halo 4, nobody does unless it’s something they can get too…and is rare.
Kinda like Halo 3 recon.
Why in the hell woould you focus on fixing customs and forge before fixing Matchmaking problems. It’s like if 343 baked a pie trying to replicate a family recipe with new things but te pies not as good as what grandma used to make. Its an ok pie but not a great one. Your essentially telling them to try and focus on the little addons to the pie lik pecans and stuff instead of focusing on bringing in better ingrediants to make the pie itself great. going after customs and theater first instead of MM would just spell death for this game.
Less graphics = more AI = more utilization from me

i don’t think you know what the word casual means, casual players arent noobs, they are players who play for fun and don’t care for stats, casuals don’t want to improve and if they wanted to prove something, theres the file share.
oh and seriosu players don’t need to play social, they can just play ranked all day.

Its a bit ignorant to think 343 is going to add custom game options considering their game is already being hacked
second part - not many of the unlockables are that desirable. Most which fit the OPS criteria are just armor patterns which are pretty lame.
Either way the casual community is getting boned in H4

But commendations unlock various armors and emblems for you to show off…So how do you not able share your achievements again?

Also, 3 months to mention Theater status for Campaign or Spartan Ops.
Nonetheless, they know what they’re doing in Spartan Ops. It’s improving considerably.
