It will depend on a lot of things, but I think the general response will be as follows:
xXxMLGSoulSlaY3RxXx69 Writes: "343 ruined Halo. It shouldn’t even have the Halo name in it, it just copies off CoD. More like Call of Halo. Like the way they fleshed out the load out system even more from Halo 4, how dare they improve features in the game? This game has like, no skill anymore, I can no longer camp in specific areas because perk X counters it. Because skill is all about camping power weapons and exploiting spawns, not an individuals ability to adapt to new situations.
Why don’t they just carbon copy Halo CE/2 for multiplayer, like CoD does with their series? But I still hate CoD because that’s what they do! So 343, uhm, just don’t copy previous games, BUT DO! Uhm, I mean, but copy Halo CE/2 without coping it, OK thanks. And make no innovations to the game, BUT DO MAKE INNOVATIONS so it’s not like cod, and cater the entire multiplayer system to me, even the casual playlists should play like Halo CE/2 (because no one plays on the MLG playlists), for a small minority in the community. Jeez, I’m not asking for much. I expected Halo 4 to have a special multiplayer mode just for me for example. When Halo 4 was plagued with low numbers for much of it’s development with a newly formed team (and still lower numbers than bungie now), which is amazing they released it on time… But they still would have had time to implement something just for a minority in the community like red X’s and an MLG playlist (that no one plays), instead of larger more important updates fixing bugs and etc."
SuperHaloBoy2004 writes: “i m 10 halo 5 is the best. i plaid this gaim and all my frends say its cool and i do 2. i was a halo fan sins i was 9, and halo 4 was amazing way bettr then halo 3, halo 3 had bad grafics and was boring. but halo 5 does not have bad grafics and was not boring. people say the story is bad but i dont play the story cause it isnt multiplayer. i have to go take my ridilin becuz im startin to lose focus cause i cant focus on anything that has substince or meaning.”
ForgeFreak117 writes: “I like the forge system on this game, but it’s not an entire map editor like in Far Cry, even though most games don’t even have the ability to change anything at all inside the game. They should really create some unrealistic forge system that would be require hundred thousands of man hours to program when they could be programming something more important, or release the dev kit so everyone can make major modifications to the game, like creating entire levels from scratch with the ability to put 200,000 AI with millions of forge pieces. I’m sure the Xbox one could handle that.”
HaloLorelover343 writes: “The story lacked emotional connection with any of the characters, even though it’s mainly an action shooter, I didn’t care about any of the characters. And where is character X? Shouldn’t X be in the story? And what about the plot hole with X Y and Z? Even an amateur writer would avoid such mistakes. Halo 5’s writing should be on par with Shakespeare and Aldous Huxley’s Brave new world, anything less than that is unacceptable, and should also challenge social norms. Not to mention the horrible writing for characters… Can you please Kill off Palmer already? She said egghead about 901,532,193 times (I’ve counted), and now she’s even calling master chief an egg head simply for being able to do basic multiplication.”
Alright, so… If you don’t mind me asking, what’s the constructive use of this thread?
You’ve posted the general complaints about any video game ever, just with a halo theme to it.
I don’t see what this thread accomplishes though.
Not a single one of those people made the slightest bit of sense, especially the first one who seemed to contradict himself after every second sentence, and i’ll admit, it was a bit difficult to pin point exactly what he was asking for…Does he want it to be like COD and copy previous games, or not? Make up your mind! And as for him saying “how dare they improve the game?” What would he rather exactly, the game to stay a mess for ever, so that Halo games can’t be produced anymore? And if he’s talking about the old “if it ain’t broken don’t fix it” phrase, then he should learn to be more specific. Oh and then there’s the MLG complaint - “they couldn’t implement an MLG playlist (that no one plays anyway)…” Why on earth would they include it, then, if no one plays it?
The only person that i could potentially agree with is HaloLoreLover343, and only about the Palmer complaint, and missing characters. Aside from that, sorry but i can’t take any of them very seriously, at all.

Just because something is an action-shooter doesn’t mean emotional connections with the characters should be a bad thing. Hell, emotional connection with the characters is one of the things Halo 4 did well.
> And where is character X? Shouldn’t X be in the story?
Well, there are SOME characters who have been set up to possibly appear in future games and not seeing them would be disappointing.
> And what about the plot hole with X Y and Z?
Are you actually making fun people who don’t like plot holes?
> Even an amateur writer would avoid such mistakes.
An amateur writer should avoid such mistakes.
> Halo 5’s writing should be on par with Shakespeare and Aldous Huxley’s Brave new world, anything less than that is unacceptable,
Shakespeare is boring as -Yoink- and Huxley’s Brave New World is an interesting take on the dystopia, but it got old really fast. If anything, Halo needs to start channeling some Asimov.

It exposes that people will never be pleased, by giving examples of the sort of complaints that almost always crop up. While I agree that Halo 4 wasn’t very good, many criticisms against most of the Halo games are unwarranted.
343 will need an ace of their sleeve if they want to change people’s minds after Halo 4. The purpose of this was also generally just poking fun, I did that quite a lot.

You’ll find that subjective given the criticism.
… So basically you’re judging people for their requests and/or arguments, paraphrasing their words to make them sound whiny and/or stupid, and all the while ridiculing them.
That’s rude… and really not that constructive.
(And yes, I realise this post is entirely hypocritical about what I’m saying.)
