I have made a mockup of I imagine that the carbine’s smart scope could look like, I am going to add some more weapons and different versions for the same weapons.
What do you think?
EDIT: Even though there haven’t been that many responses so far, I am happy that you seem to like what I have done. I just want to say thank you to everybody, even though it is not much it still means much too me to see these positive reactions.
I think is too big and bright. But a nice idea of what it could be.
I love the carbine, it’s my favorite weapon in Halo
i’d imagine the covie weapons all have their own special SS look. Remember the LR was the only non human gun in the beta and it’s SS was way different so it wouldn’t surprise me if covie weapons have their own look.

I deliberately made it so bright, I took inspiration on the Carbine’s ammo counter,
You are right though, I could make it a little bit smaller.

That is very possible but we don’t know yet, so I took inspiration from the AR which I think is the most neutral one.

Since it’s a precision weapon, it might get a slight redesign to accommodate an actual scope, or make it really alien and have the ammo be the scope. Though I guess you would have to lower the back of the gun to accomodate for a head to go there.

Or mimic the Lightrifle’s and expose just the tipy tip
I believe the ammo counter/clip actually functions as the scope. In that way, I envision it being more similar to the DMR in terms of looking down an actual scope. Nonetheless, I admire your designs, and I look forward to seeing more.

I could try that out, but I’d have to take the screenshot of the weapon from a slightly different angle, but I will try it out

I think so too, but the ones I have so far have been done in a hurry. I will try some more sophisticated designs though.

I would push the Carbine slightly to the right, like the AR, to make a a bit more HUD realistic, but other than that, Great!
