How sould different Character modles play in multiplayer?

How sould different Character models play in multiplayer?
Its a simple question
Its already been announced were playing as spartans 4’s which if im correct are just re modified voluntary soldiers and spartan III’s. So wouldnt they naturally be smaller then elites? Maybe as strong but not the same size.

I think the elites from halo reach and wars were the best they ever were. Big and scary.
SO simply put they sould be different from Spartans
and armor like this or This

Also if forerunners are added into the mix they sould also be different in some way besides just looks.

Pretty sure SII’s can also become SIV’s. I think we might have different character classes of some kind, marines, ODST’s, SIII’s and SII’s can all become SIV’s of different sizes.

I’d prefer if we are all the same but it does seem possible.

Dunno, if they play differently they might be shunted off into select playlists like Elites in Reach. I’m all for Bungie’s same size, same abilities thing.

The armor looks awesome though!

Nope glass lands said only 3’s and marines who accepted it

Frankie said that for gameplay reasons, the SIVs will play identically to the Master Chief. That suggests that they will play like a Spartan II. Which I am thankful for. If there are other species in multiplayer, it should be like Halo 2/3 where they play the same.

Also, unless they give each species or character model clear distinctions that are highly applicable to gampelay tactics, then I’d say go with H2 where only looks apply. I personally would like the elites to be tougher and stronger and faster, to be a higher threat, but have their size as a signifcant disadvantage to counteract the better tech/weapons/character. Halo reach had the right idea, but the elites are still to weak in comparison to spartans(Invasion slayer for instance)…mostly referenceing the tech imbalance here, how covenant plasma weaponry is supposed to be more effective, when it is not, likewise for armor and vehicle imbalance(human vehicles being unaffected by the needle rifle or plasma weapons, yet covenant vehicles being paper shredded by the dmr)

This bulletin from a couple of weeks ago.

The exact part is:

I remember a 343 employee saying that Spartan IV’s were a new breed of Spartans, and they would be “bigger and stronger than ever.” This is making me belive Spartan IV’s will be taller, thus matching Elite’s height and giving a canon reason for them to be the same height in multiplayer (without hunching over Elites).
