I’m really into spartan ops, and I’m truly excited for it!!!

SpOps Season 2, is, as it has been said many times before, a big MAYBE.
Well, if there isn’t going to be a Season 2, talk about a huge cliffhanger and waiting for Halo 5…
No, I’m pretty sure there’s going to be a 2nd season of spartan ops. I’m pretty sure I remember watching a video on 343 explaining how there’s going to be multiple seasons on spartan ops stuff.
I think it is plain crazy if they haven’t already been at work on or completed a season 2. Why start it if you’re not going to give it a solid run?
I’m hoping we see it within weeks or months at the outside. If it’s any longer than 1-2 months it just seems really out of place and timing IMO.
I doubt there will be a new season solely because Requiem is destroyed. They would have to create a new world, or ring, with enough story for a new season. Something that big would be left to a new game.
If we do in fact have a season 2 it probably take place on a ring, though I did quiet like requiem a little more then the rings.
I’m pretty sure I read that they weren’t sure if they would be doing a season 2 because of the costs. I don’t know where I read that, hopefully we can find out more soon, I’m definitely excited for a season 2!

It’s all a big maybe right now, nothing notable has been announced about it.

They could make new environments or re-use multiplayer maps like how they’ve already done with some of them like Ragnarok and Complex (Galileo Base). Since many of the multiplayer maps are not on Requiem, Spartan Ops could take place there.

You must of just had a dream about it. They never said they were going to make a second season. It was always a maybe. If I had to guess I’m gonna say they aren’t going to make a season 2 because they have already talked about it being a daunting task and said it was a lot more difficult than they expected. They were also going by how popular it was and TBH I don’t think it was that popular. I enjoyed it but I don’t know too many people that really did. I would say their is about a 20% chance we will get a season 2.
I think they made a big mistake in killing off Requiem so soon, they could have expanded sooo much of it, now they can’t reuse anything and have to make entire new worlds which could be better spent in making Halo 5.

I don’t see them waiting too long to announce their plans or lack thereof for season 2.
No thanks lol. Sops was terrible for the first five weeks and only barely got over the line.

Yeah, I am actually willing to pay for spartan ops. It’s a very good story line. It’s a nice filler for in between halo 4 and 5. I would prefer to pay 800 Microsoft points for it though.
