how should 343 handle quitters?
Lose EXP earned that game and don’t earn for the next. Seems fair to me.
Half credits or spartan points (whatever it is) in the next game.
Time penalty
I think the game should be affected too. If it is 4v4 and 3 players quit on one team and the last guy is AFK, we shouldn’t have to wait 12 minutes for the match to end.
I don’t have any ideas but there has got to be someway to deal with this. Maybe a vote to cut the time remaining in half? Idk
not one of these threads again
I bet someone is going to say something along the lines of “banned for a week and if dey quit again and ruins mah game I.P banned hurrr durrrrrrrrrrrrr”
A combination of the Halo 3 and Reach’s systems. No Spartan Points earned from the current game the first time. If you do it again sometime in the next 3 games you should get no exp and half for the next one. Do it again… and you should get a quit ban for ten minutes. Do it again and it just keeps stacking up.
Seems fair to me.

agreed
I like the not getting credits/exp/spartan-points for the next game idea.

sorry i havent noticed a thread on this yet and i wanted to know yalls opinion i really dont care much because i almost never quit.

After hearing about mid-game joining, no one should ever be penalized. Ever. Does not compute.
First off, no EXP for the game you quit, and the next game, and a loss of skill ranking if you do it frequently.
i thought halo has a drop in/drop out system this time?
if so, then i could care less about quitters.

I don’t see how that’s fair, some people have other things to do. I think half the EXP per current game is fine.

Yes you should. I don’t care if you didn’t get your favorite map and gametype. Suck it up and play the game!
XP taken away from you SR rank and a temp ban on earning XP if you quit to much.

If you are quitting out that many times in that amount of time… why are you even playing? Do what you have to do first and then play the game.

they do so i suppose that would make it better, but something tells me they will probably still have a affect on quitters.
Very harsh penalties after 2ish games (I’d say one, but -Yoink- happens) quit in “x” amount of time.
Example:
20-30min wait, and half the normal credits for the next 3 games.
Also, I don’t like joining games mid-game. I hope you can turn that off.
