There’s been a lot of criticism, hatred, disdain, whatever other synonyms you can throw in there about the hints surrounding Infinite having a microtransaction-related system and the rather specific quote of “No Real-Money Lootboxes”, but none of the discussion has felt particularly productive, seeing that we don’t know exactly how 343 plans on doing microtransactions. There’s a chance they could think of something revolutionary, a new system that keeps them ahead of the game in the modern gaming market, while still keeping fans satisfied and the gameplay fun and balanced.
And this is the reason I wanted to start this thread. If you guys were to do some brainstorming of yourselves, how would you do a microtransaction system that receives actual good feedback? The only form of criticism that we see here should be constructive, don’t use this just to bash on microtransactions or whatever suspicions you have. I’d like to see some genuine, considerate ideas going here. Hopefully 343 will see some of our ideas and put them to good use in the official launch!
