I’m feeling like buying some REQ packs just to see how it goes and what I get for lols…
Trying to decide whether I want to buy the Warzone Premium REQ packs off xbox.com or go for a pile of Gold Bundles. I am hoping to get some rare permanent unlocks useable in Warzone like the “Halo 2 BR” and the “Halo CE Pistol” to get permanent weapon unlocks like these, do you think I would be better off to go for a Gold Bundle or a Warzone Premium REQ pack as I have yet to grab one of those.
On three different occasion I received a Warzone pack, but when I try to open it, it says that I already purchased it. It came with the game. So If you are done with the bronze and silver packs, then I would recommend to get the gold packs.
I don’t have an incredibly extensive REQ collection at the moment. I still have a lot of REQs from each tier to unlock. How does this change your perspectives? Of course, given I will not be doing a rabid grind for SR 152, so do place some priority on aiming for the higher REQs over 100% completion as I will likely not have all of the lower tiers completed for some time. Any advice?
I would rather have a few good legendaries in other words than heaps of crap. Of course, use your conventional wisdom too if you still think it’s best to go with smaller packs. Let me know! Thanks for all the feedback!
The thing is, if you still have a lot of lower level stuff to unlock, there’s a good chance you’ll unlock those with the better REQ packs, making them a waste of money to some people. I’d hate to see you spend your money and then be upset because you got a ton of really common REQs
If this is a 1-time thing, grab the $100 Gold bundle. If that’s a bit too much dinero, get the $45 bundle.
Do both, you’ll get a lot of stuff.
My kids are starting to play, they haven’t amassed hardly any RP at all (their ages are in the single digits, they play for fun), I bought them each the $20 bundle (9 packs total), and they each got some Loadout weapons, armors, helmets, and Power Weapon & Vehicle certifications. So, the more Gold you get, the more stuff you get(kinda obvious).
If you want to chase Spartan customizations, you can get the Arena Bundle as well. But, you won’t get any weapons or vehicles, like you do with the Warzone Bundle…and the Warzone Bundle still gives you customization items.
Would you rather grind to getting all of the common reqs first or spend your money now? It would be worth it to wait, but if you don’t want to then I’d buy some Gold Packs in hopes of getting a few legendries. But it is totally up to you on how you want to spend your cash. Hope you get some good reqs!
I just spent $100 on req packs yesterday. A mix of silvers and golds at the end. I got two good looking sets imo (reaper armor set and pathfinder trailbreaker set). I also got a lot of other things I wanted but I don’t feel like typing an essay. Morale is that req pack opening is an addiction. DO it anyway!!!

No joke, it is addicting Still taking everything that has been said by everyone into consideration in making my decision. Loads of great points by everyone and lots to think about.
Golds vs Warzone Premiums (or both) is a definite debate on my mind
versus
Grinding silvers for a while (which I may or may not have the time to do - in and around customs/competitive practice and “real life”) and then going for some Golds/Premiums.
Warzone Bundle. You get 14 PREMIUM packs, 2 every week. Why is this better than Gold?
You have an increased chance of getting the good -Yoink-. Ultra rares, legendaries, the whole nine yards.
You get THREE permanent unlocks, as opposed to the standard 2 that gold gives you.
In either case, however, be sure you’ve finished Commons, Uncommons, and close to finishing Rares, if not finishing them altogether for a spike in your likelihood of getting the good stuff.
