I think that the armour unlocks should be a combination of halo reach’s and halo 3’s and halo 4’s, so all of the games that had them. You should have to reach a certain CSR rank to unlock them, but instead of purchasing them with credits and spending tons of time grinding credits to purchase it, you should unlock them by completing achievements, or completing tasks. For example, one armour set in halo 3 required you to get a splatter with a mongoose in a multiplayer game, and another required you to complete the campaign on legendary. Completing these achievements with my brother were some of my fondest memories. Some of the armour in halo 4 like the venator armour which required 500 assassinations, were awesome to try to get, and felt less like grinding, and more like using tactics and actually improving your skill. I would love to see more of this in halo 5, but instead of reaching a certain rank to be able to get these, it should be based on your CSR. If you go down in CSR rank, you still should keep your armour.

the only achievement that should be tied to Armor are campaign achievements, MP armor tied to MP achievements just leads to Boosting and bull crap like that.
Tasks Might be good like Capturing so many strongholds, or killing so many players, or completing certain amount of matches, wins, etc etc, But the task should be more about grinding the possible and not completely thing that are so difficult is make players boost.
But i think ranking up should only be tied to SR(spartan rank) and not CSR, obtaining things like semi and pro once full release will become difficult due to the constantly rotating ranks for semi and pro.
Armor is armor. I think the SR system works just fine for armor unlocks. With achievements especially in multiplayer you either get things that are simply impossible to do without getting a lobby together to achievement boost (like in Lone Wolves Halo 3) or you get people randomly doing crap that takes away from the game.
Well I felt a great feeling of satisfaction when I unlocked heiloskrill (or however it is spelled) for the halo 5 beta. So I think that having a mix system of unlocking armor would be good and more exciting then it solely being based on CSR
Like Destiny. Just keep playing and you’ll eventually get something you like.
People really like that.
I agree with all of this, but it won’t matter if the armor looks like crap lol, hopefully most of the armor resembles athlon, it actually look good and different from all the other armor. Of course this is just my opinion
