Honestly Halo Follower has been so consistently wrong over the years that if he’s your only source its probably wrong.

Actual 343 confirmation would be huge and not just covered by him.

He is not my only source. There were originally leaks and then it sprouted to rumors before eventually 343 had to make a statement.

I should note that there are news articles about it as well, talk on Twitter, covered all on YouTube. Now it should go without saying that i am not one of those “ everything I see I believe” BUT I do hope they go to use UE5 because it would make the game more pleasing to the eyes as opposed to slipspace. Everything is so janky and plasticy.

Btw in no way am I trying to sound combative I hope my words make it sound like a normal civilized conversation. I have issues wording things in a correct manor so people assume I am trying to sound rude or anything of that regard.

The tweet says HALO is moving to unreal. Not HALO INFINITE.

Halo The Endless is most likely halo 7 since 343 is scared of numbers.

Thanks for the link. I have some issues with the video and your claims.

  1. Jez Cordon is not a 343 dev. He is one of those “Trust me, I know people” sources I was mentioning. I’m not saying he hasn’t been reliable in the past, but you should always be cautious with these types of sources.
  2. Jez and everyone other “source” shown in this video says that Halo could be switching to UE5, this should not be assumed to be Halo Infinite. In fact, more often than not it is in reference to Tatanka specifically, (which the video just kinda skips over that important detail every time). Other times there are references to Endless (which we don’t even really know what that means yet). Any other time it is in reference to Halo generally.
  3. KevinKoolX is the only one to suggest that Infinite is switching engines. I can’t tell if this is just an error on his part (plenty of other misquotes when he is literally reading the text on screen) or if he is being disingenuous.

There are some speculation that UE5 would be mainly implemented in tatanka. So as aside from the idea of them changing the entire game they may just use an engine of such scale of what may be the largest game mode they make. Idk… yeah, Kevin has been a very on and off sorts thing. Idk. Besides jez there are from what I have seen at times just the telephone game with “leaked information” that supposedly leakers found. But again it’s all speculation.

Jesus Christ I need to learn to formulate things right instead of making it sound like “THIS IS FACT” lmao.

Glad you’re having a civilized conversation with me instead of having a mental breakdown. I have a pretty bad issue regarding being able to properly form things regardless of it speaking or writing, people interpret it a different way. That’s what happens when you’re isolated for two straight years in nothing but one room almost all the time. Glad the virus has died down so I’m just getting out in the world. Currently working to get college so I can join air force as a fighter pilot. Also struck gold today and I have a date tomorrow so wish me luck :joy:

Thought that may be the case with out a doubt halo 7 will probably either just be a dlc and or a game far and I mean far away in the future. Granted I don’t think that they’ll be supporting halo infinites “10 year plan” promise considering all the other promises they wimped out on time and time again so it may be soon in the foreseeable future. Only time will tell.
