How req points are earned?

I was playing a game of warzone and my teams score is about 800 and the enemy has about 400.

Why is it that they have nearly twice as many req points with my team having 4 and theirs has 7?

The maximum amount of REQ points in a Warzone game is dependent on your own personal score, not your team’s as a whole. Pressing the View (Select) button will pull up the scoreboard so you can see how many points you have accrued. You can increase you maximum REQ points by scoring kills or taking bases, but taking down bosses (legendary bosses in particular) is the better way to go.

Whoever had a seven point maximum must have gotten a large number of kills and must have been involved in killing the bosses that their team had eliminated. Not everyone on their team will have had seven points. Only a select few.

I thought it was the opposite, I thought req points are earned as a team. I’m sure I read it some where plus why does my req points go up then when I don’t do any thing and my personal performance doesn’t match my req point cause plenty of times I’m doing great have a low req score and other times I’m doing badly and have a high req score.

Possibly a random weapon. They only cost three REQ points.

Capturing bases and taking down bosses gives you a HUGE boost to your REQ exp to the next level.

Considering if you get a few assists or kills on the invading Covenant/Promethean forces in your base, then you get the REQ lvl 2 for releasing the lockdown, if you kill a few more enemies capturing the armoury will give you level three REQ, normally.
