I made such a commitment to never being a quitter and I think I’ve saved up some brownie points so I can quit on the fly every now and then if the situation calls for it.

I respect that. Not quitting is what I strive for. But I don’t mind being banned, you can still play warzone if you enjoy that.
But, my friend… Don’t be surprised if you get banned if you ever Do quit. Because it’s so random. Also, you might get banned if your internet gets disconnected during games.
OP did you quit any matches before quitting that one game. It’s possible all your previous quits caught up to you. And quitting 10 games makes out you are a heavy quitter, just because you are not enjoying the game doesn’t mean that you should make other players experience a negative match due to a lack of players.

It isn’t random, it is based on patterns of behavior. In your case 6 out of your last 10 matches are DNFS. All ban related questions should be asked in the ban thread linked below.
