I’ve been thinking about getting the MCC, but with mixed reviews about the multiplayer, I have to ask. Is the matchmaking, specifically CE and Halo 2 (Classic and Anniversary) still populated enough that I would be able to find a game? Sure, the campaigns are the main draw, but I’d definitely like to play Halo CE and Halo 2’s multiplayers.

I certainly might, always wanted to play Halo 2 multiplayer.
yes you can find games, somedays the waiting times are a bit longer, but if you play during the weekends you shouldn’t have any problem.
About the reviews, it’s still pretty bugged in the multiplayer but it’s definetly worth to have it; especially now that you can find the MCC at a very low price.

There’s more than enough people playing. You’ll have no problems finding matches.

Looks very cool. I’ll likely check it out when it happens.

From what I can tell, it probably also has something to do with location.
