How long are you guys willing to wait for gameplay footage, or any news in general, regarding Halo Xbox One? Another week? Another month? A few months?
The reason I’m asking this question is because is because I’ve been feeling suprisingly impatient.
I remember the wait for news on Halo 4. I recall being fairly patient, but that was probably because of Halo 3’s multiplayer and Reach’s custom games keeping me busy. During our wait for this next Halo, due to Halo 4’s many setbacks, I’m guessing that most of us are a lot less patient than we were with Halo 4. We’re all itching to see progress.
So how soon do you think we’ll see this progress? And like I asked earlier: How soon are you willing to wait?
I just want to know whether I should even bother considering buying Halo 5 and for that, I need information about the game, so I’d like it sooner than later.
I’m not waiting for Halo 5 trailers, weapons, enemies and information of that nature as much as I am waiting for 343’s acknowledgment and reference to specific problems of Halo 4 that will be addressed in Halo 5.
I’m willing to wait as long as needed lol, I’ve looked at the upcoming fps games, and I am not impressed.
Don’t really care for a campaign reveal, because I know it will be solid. Multiplayer reveal is the most important, as that is what I will keep playing.
Don’t like killzone, cod, battlefield, planetside, blacklight, gears game play. Crysis and tribes are okay (prefer the older versions of each game). I’m not hyped for titanfall, though it’s new ip which is always good. Still don’t know what exactly what destiny multiplayer will be like, it’s the only real competitor to halo right now for me.
I will play counter strike and halo 4/reach/3 for fps in the mean time.
Halo 5 essentially wins by default (which is bad for me if I end up not liking halo 5).
I can be extremely patient, unlike some people who NEED TO HAVE INFORMATION RIGHT THIS SECOND OR THEY WILL DIE!
Some of you people really need to chill on the “WHEN IS THE INFORMATION FOR HALO 5 COMING OUT!” crap, learn from Halo 4, don’t expect information to fall at a drop of a hat, don’t truly expect it until E3.
I will be very patient as I know that it doesn’t matter what I, or anyone else does, will speed up the release of information.
That’s not to say that with the conduit to halo 5 being released hasn’t gotten me a bit more excited for it.
I love the anticipation of new games and getting new information and all that kind of stuff. Finding out new/awesome things about the game you’re eagerly waiting for.
Had a dream last night I was playing Halo 5. Started Campaign after wondering if I should try out the “host server” option cause of dedicated servers.
Lol but dreams are dreams, I won’t go into what the campaign was like.
Either way, I’m already feeling the build-up of excitement.
Just gotta scrounge up the money for both the console and game now…ugh.
Sometimes I can be very patient but this time around I really want some info asap, I can’t wait to play the campaign so it would be nice of 343i if they could release some concept art.
I got a feeling we’re going to see something either at the VGX or sometime between now and the end of the year, then the next reveal will probably follow up in Halo 4’s footsteps in spring or so.
I cant see them teasing a new game then making us wait nearly a year just to find out what the game is called.
That makes it sound as if 343 is taking unreasonably long, and that people will start dropping the franchise if 343 doesn’t release some information soon.
I can wait for however long I need to. Patience is harder to come by when things have a set release date for me, I prefer when I don’t know, a lot easier to avoid getting worked up that way.
