As I am sure many of you have been hearing / keeping up to date with in 343’s bulletin, they are “balancing” the rifles in multiplayer. But does anyone know how often what is said in the bulletin is implemented or if it has even been implemented yet… I read somewhere that after the bulletin on 4/17/13 announcing the weapon balancing that the changes were going to happen on 4/22/13 but having tried it out myself I can say it hasn’t…
Most of what they say eventually gets done but is generally at least 4+ months overdue.
Join In Progress is still broken nearly 6 months on.
They took their sweet time fixing glitches which still exist.
File browser took like 4 months.
CSR barely just got released 5 months late.
The broken sandbox has yet to be fixed closing in on 6 months.
DLC is still broken and rarely ever appears outside of the DLC playlist.
You still spawn to your death in settler in MATCHMAKING, you'd think they fix it nearly 6 months on.
This one is simply unbelievable. To think they enter maps into matchmaking with clearly no testing. People randomly spawning into the abyss randomly? Test much?
They have a pretty piss poor record in fixing or implementing updates. They update the game once the majority of players leave. Logic right?
It is clear that they need to speed up this process.
Especially with the weapon testing. They say they need to test it etc. but this has been going on since launch and only now are they talking about it and we still have to wait until they do their testing.
They need a more efficient way of doing this as it is taking way too long.
Fixing that random spawn in settler should be simple enough but they haven’t.
They made comment to latency testing rather than LAN testing which was obvious. But a way to fix that 343, is allowing REGIONAL servers in Halo 5. This would reduce the latency most people outside of the US have.
The game is way unbalanced because latency is sometimes up to a second. How, when you’ve created such precise weapons, can anyone win a head shot battle if the Americans have a 1 second advantage over you in the shoot out?
Your balancing takes too long. This all needs to be sped up. I have also noticed that matchmaking updates aren’t every week any more. Everything is getting slower.
