How much would it cost to buy 343i ?

This is something I was thinking would a interesting thing to ask on the forums.

I might not have the money now, but if and when I do, I would buy 343i from Microsoft if it would be possible.

Here is a example offer . . 10 billion dollars.

Would that be to little or to much ?

I dont want to sell 343 short, but for that kind of money you could put together a dream team of developers. 343 does not themselves own the rights to Halo, I believe Bill Gates has that sweet little deed in his personal vault.

Would MS entertain a 10 Billion dollar offer of the Halo franchise? Perhaps, as that would be a ridiculous amount of forward value up front, Halo has that kind of earning potential long term, question is, given the right strategy, how much could Halo as a franchise earn?

If Bill Gates does in fact own the rights to Halo, then I would need to talk with him if and when I have billions of dollars.

I wouldn’t mind paying 10 billion dollars or more to own the rights Halo.

Halo is one of my most favorite game universes.

Sadly I don’t think they would answer this kind of question unless such a offer was the real deal.

Well 343 Industries is owned by Microsoft. You can’t just “Buy” 343 Industries, you would have to work something out with Microsoft. And even then, you’re talking millions if not billions of dollars.

Halo its self has made billions. So i doubt they would sell for just 10 billion.
