I’ve played over 20,000 games of Halo 2.
I’ve played over 20,000 games of Halo 3
I’ve played 1700 games of Reach.
So probably 100 games or so, since H4 looks 10 times worse than Reach.

I’ll probably play until Halo 5, I’ll probably still play Halo 3 and Reach every not and then. But I’ll probably stick to Halo 4 for the most part. I know I’ll definately play the entire campaign, try to beat it on Solos Legendary. I’ll do some forging, play lots of multiplayer, and beat the first season of Spartan Ops.
I’ll beat the campaign the first day, then mess around in forge and look at all the maps, and then I’ll play multiplayer and Spartan Ops for the rest of eternity.
Play until I get bored.

Play until I get bored or too busy. Won’t be buying the next generation consoles in gaming so I’ll stick with my 360 even when Live gets shut down.

I am glad I play solely for campaign…that completely shields me from ever having to encounter this kind of people/mentality

I’m not trolling.
And to put it simply, I play Halo for the multiplayer, and what 343 has done from the looks of it will not be enjoyable.
Maybe I should clarify. If it is as bad as it looks to me, I will probably play about 100 games before I am done with Halo. If I do enjoy it like I did the previous games, I will probably play another 20,000 games if it.
I’m betting on the former.
It depends really, the game looks so amazing and I’m so hyped for it but Reach also looked amazing and I was really hyped for it. With Reach it didn’t seem to have any lasting appeal, I still played a lot but for quite a large amount of time it felt like a chore and it was the thought of getting to at least mythic that made me play. Reach just didn’t carry the incentive to play as previous titles did and no I’m not going to be one of “them” and complain about every aspect of Reach. Reach was a solid game but some of the newly introduced features just weren’t polished enough and it felt a tad rushed. From what I’ve seen of Halo 4 so far it really does remind me of Halo 3 and I’m getting those Halo 3 goosebumps and feelings in my stomach which is a GOOD sign. I couldn’t get enough of Halo 3 and hopefully Halo 4 is equally addicting!
