Supporting the HCS is the only reason I need to buy them.

And I assume they also make up for the 15 free DLC maps we’re getting. The smart people probably won’t buy many of them though. You walk out of your base with a weapon and get sniped and that’s your money down the drain. Plus they said that people who have more high level cards, likely through buying ReQ packs, are more likely to match up with other people who are in the same boat. Sounds like they have the system well thought out enough that it won’t disrupt the rest of the people who hate micro-transactions.
Probably around the same as a weapon skin in COD.
I’d pay £1 for 100 extremely rare REQ packs and never buy anymore again. In comparison to the full game, this is a rip off in my eyes.

It’s not about the weapons themselves, but the armor and weapon skins to me :3

Yea… we have a million dollar prize pool for the championships, they are trying to get more people back in the Halo tournaments, which in turn raises online populations, they give away free DLC, they don’t force you to buy it, and still allow you to get EVERYTHING that you can buy in the packs for free, just work for it… and it wouldn’t be YOU paying for the packs, but hey, let’s try to derail it already because you feel your thoughts of microtransactions from other games apply here. You have fun with that.
