Zero, never will.
I’ve spent zilch on them and I hope to never succumb to it.
The opening of a REQ pack is just so much better when you really feel like you earned it in-game.
purchased a single gold pack, dont regret it.
None. But I might just to spite people hating on microtransactions.
Not a penny, yet.
0 and good. Chance i never will…
Found a 10 on the ground one day so said -Yoink- it and got 10 dollars worth. Lol
$436 so far
They ain’t getting a dime from me and besides, it’s more rewarding to get req points and packs by actually playing the game then wasting your hard earned cash on req packs. Also there might be chances of you not getting anything good anyway if you buy packs so why risk your money? People with gambling problems stay clear of halo 5 lol.
Yay for 10 dollars!
my buddy has spent $2000 on csgo lets be honest people are going to spend a lot on halo
- I will absolutely never spend another cent on halo 5, considering the DLC is free.
I only bought a gold pack because I had spare money on my Microsoft account. Didn’t really do it on purpose.
Hey, if there are people that want to spend their cash on req packs- more power to them. If 343 can make money like that, while giving us free map packs, I’m all for it!!!
I’ve spent about $30.

You could have bought several copies of the game for your friends. hehe
Spent $0 so far.
I think the rate at which you earn REQ points by playing Warzone and Arena is pretty decent. Therefore, I enjoy playing the game while working toward that 10,000 RP at a time, to get that Gold pack.
Not to mention the RP boosts you get that propel you even quicker towards that goal. And the commendations/rank-up packs that you get, which sometimes give you decent stuff.
No issue if people want to spend money on packs. If you think it’s worth it, then all power to you. But some people have the idea that microtransactions have no place in a game title like Halo.
I think it’s important to have that balance of people who either agree or disagree with it. Game developers can’t take it for granted that the players are going to accept it no matter what.
Personally, I have no issue with it. There’s no “principle” of it, as some people say, especially since you’re given a choice about it, and it’s not to the extent of “pay-to-win”, like some other games. It’s totally possible to do well and have fun in the game without buying packs.
Are we talking about the in-game purchases or purchases that come with a REQ pack (like the controller or Xbox Live). If it is in-game then $0 AUD (not going to at the prices they have listed), but if we are also talking about real life purchases then $190 AUD (the MC controller, Xbox Live and some pizzas).
Ive spent around 100 bucks on req packs and ive bought 3 copies of the game for friends. At the end of the day Id rather support the game as best I can. Better than buying 3 season passes at any rate
