I’m too embarrassed to admit how much I spent on Requisition Packs. Suffice to say, a certain plastic card in my possession is now only useful for scratching my underarms, at least until I get another job.
On the plus side, I learned the value of a dollar; albeit the hard way. Go ahead, say it… I’m an idiot. bangs head on desk
Main reason for my spending spree was actually trying to find a set of armor that suits me. I miss my Halo 4 EOD armor; I had perfect setup with the Mark VI gauntlets and LG-50 Bulk legs combined with the full EOD. Made for a pretty cool heavy-trooper look, but sadly they took away my EOD in Halo 5, along with the ability to freely customize my Spartan…
none I’m getting enough by just playing the game
If they fix certain mechanics of the game, maybe I’ll buy a few then
btw, what are certifications for?
I bought one silver req pack… that was it - then I learned that I could buy them with points. oops. so that’s what I do. I sell the stuff I have plenty of and that’s super common to get more points, too.
None, at least yet. I’m sure I’ll buy maybe a gold or two down the line when A. I unlock more uncommon, common and rare permanents or B. They make the golds more worth it. Other then that I’m getting plenty just be playing.

Certifications mean you will receive more of that item in future Req packs, and more often. For example, if you want to be able to use the Mantis a lot in Warzone, you need to first get Mantis Certification, which will then increase the drop for the Mantis in all future Req packs.
I bought the 25 dollar req bundle, and spent 13 bucks I had sitting in my Microsoft live account. And I regret that I did. With the aiming issues, lobby issues, and horrid multiplayer ranking structure, I feel violated for spending that much…
Not to mention the lack of maps, and the dmr now being absolutely worthless…

Yeah, I’m starting to wish I had blown so much with the game in it’s current state. I’m holding out for a PvE-Only Warzone variant that can be played solo; something to fill the void left by the lack of Firefight and Spartan Ops. Warzone is more PvP that it is PvE, so it doesn’t fill that vital niche in the Halo playroom.
