How much people will play halo 4 at launch?

I think 3-4million.

It’s “How many people will…”

OT: We will have to wait and see, there’s a lot of good competition this year.

I really hope Halo 4 blows Black Ops out of the water. Halo definitely needs to make a HUGE comeback.

Two feces related gamertags in one thread! lol.

Erm… dunno my guesstimate is around 400 to 500k, errrrr couple million perhaps? maybe more I have no idea!

Less than CoD, more than Halo:Reach.

Probably just below two million; Just like with Halo 3 and Reach.

You have no idea friend. You should see my FL.

This is what I see happening. Most people will play Black Ops II but a lot will play Halo 4. Not long after it say at Christmas time or next year the hype from the specatular reviews of the many will spark an sudden uproar in the popularity of Halo again due to the overall quality of the new game and Halo will hopefully take over the majority of the population again. But in the mean time I don’t see it happening considering that there are too many obsessive Call Of Duty post-Modern Warfare fanboys that’s brains are too tiny the even comprehend something as plausibly magical as Halo 4.

I’m hoping for the same thing but a lot of younger kids are probably going to go with Black Ops 2 as it is the “cooler” thing to do. My 10 year old brother was telling me that he is the only one in his class that would go with Halo 4. All those other kids were getting their parents to pick them up Black Ops.

Anyway, back on topic. I’ll need to wait and see how its looking before I can estimate how many people will be online the first day. As of now I would estimate around 2 million copies sold in the U.S.

Halo: Reach hit over one million on day one to my knowledge, highest it ever was.

I’d expect roughly the same, if not, slightless less from Halo 4, maybe 800,000-1,000,000’s.

I can’t wait for that day when everyone finally realises that modern warfare themed games where we kill each other in it on a regular basis aren’t the only resolution to gaming we have and the fact that it’s extremely repetitive and has been done over and over and over and over… need I go on? Also I never thought it was healthy for most children to be playing games at such a young age, while a lot are mature then most others are easily influenced by the fact that in Call Of Duty we are repetitively killing humans over and ov… you catch the drift.

Since halo 4 is way bigger than halo reach and it has the so called “Revival” of the master chief saga. I will say 1.5 to 2 million people.

Twelve. They’ll be the ones who survived the dangerously high levels of awesome.

I’d say a few hundred thousand AT LEAST.

343,343,343 People.

Lol the forum is filling up with predication threads. How is anyone supposed to know this and what does it matter?

Alright I’ll bite. 1.7 million.

I’m guessing between 1.5-2.5 million. This is the average for recent mainstream halo games like Reach and 3.

Heh… If the halo 4 population hits 2 million on release day… It would mean that about 0.02-0.03% of the world population (assuming we got 7 billion souls on Earth) is playing halo 4 on that single day.

the day off i get in the week from college is tuesday… the day halo 4 comes out!! im getting up early, going down stairs with xbox, link it up, connect surround sound to xbox, and wait for my beloved halo 4 LE copy!! and then start my rein as the worst palyer ever known or the most annoying xD and then ill get to work on my first map pack for H4 to be released and my aim date is November the 12th!! for my first map pack

Map Pack 1: resigulation!!!

depending on how many slots we have in file share will depend on how many maps i do in each map pack and how many map packs but im aiming for 3
:stuck_out_tongue:

I predict about a million players.

1.5 to 2 million easily. If it doesn’t, IMO, Halo 4 failed on advertisement and Day1 Sales.
