How much people played it before reach released and after? What did the population counter show. I saw some halo 3 youtube video from 2010 and it showed 24,000 and now its 21,000(and the counters now broken so it could be more populated now unlikely to be less populated because every playlist is highly populated besides swat and snipers).
How about this, around 2009 it used to be 140-220k and 2007-2009 it was around the 200k mark, depending on your timezone that is. Like for me (GMT) I had it best as there would be tons of Euro’s and eastern Euros and soon everyone in the US would get home from school too but a good few East Euros would be gone by then…
However, on Bungie vs the world days it would stand at 550k+ I saw it hit 714k once…
the counter has always been broken since launch, so dont go off that.
Around when Reach was about to come out the population was at around 1 million.
I think on Christmas of 2008 it hit 1 million, and a few months after that it was at a steady 600k, which slowly diminished until about 2010 it when it was a steady 100/200k

No, it hasn’t.
It was switched to unique players over 24 hours after Reach was launched. Before then, it was an accurate current player counter.
I loaded halo 3 up a week ago and it said 5000 players online. Tried to see if I could get in a game but I don’t have the patience to wait 10 minutes just to get into one game.
