How much of the Elites are allied with humans? I haven’t played through Halo 3 yet but I will, so don’t just say: “Go play Halo 3.” I will, in time.
So apparently the Elites are allied with the humans now but there are still rogue Elites who remain against the humans. How much of the Elites are on the humans’ side? Like a full race? A dozen? Are most of the Elites against the humans or with the humans?
There really is no alliance, just an arbitrary “I won’t kill you, you don’t kill me” treaty in place.

None, really.

In general that’s how it is really. I’m sure that the upcoming Thursday War book will show how some elites became the enemies they are in Halo 4 apparently.
Decepticoncobra is correct there really isn’t any sort of alliance their just not blowing each other up because there is a bigger threat to worry about.
To answer you’re question every elite in halo 3 is a friendly.
In glasslands the elites that sided with the arbiter are pro human and the ones that didn’t are not.
There is no ceasfire, just an absence of shooting.

There were Elites siding with the Arbiter? I remember no such thing in Glasslands.

Not really. Levu ‘Mdama sided with the Arbiter and when the other Kaidons mocked him for his “love” of humans, silenced them. Later on though, he reveals his hatred for humanity but says the Elites should wait before attacking because they are weak at that moment. The fact most of the Kaidons mocked Thel in the first place should be a huge tip off.
Sadly it would seem there is no pro-human side, or at least one where they don’t hate humans.

That gave me the chills because it’s so good.

Basically that. While the Arbiter has respect for humanity (thanks to Johnson, Miranda, and the Chief), there really isn’t peace. Its going to be a some time before that is brought to fruition since both sides have their own intenal issues to settle.
I don’t think the entire Sangheili race is out for blood. There are multiple allusions in both the novels and Halo 4 indicating rogue Elites.
Just remember that once again a more serious threat will bring the races together and unite against their common enemy, perhaps a long-lasting alliance.
If you want peace, prepare for war.
