Pfffftt! No, Halo 5 is already on life support as it is, if I had to take a guess I’d give it maybe another 4 months, then pbbbth! Dead as dust.
Yeah, I reckon it can. Even if it dips a little now, when Halo 6 is announced people will probably start playing again in anticipation.
I think is already going down, even waypoint is not that popular anymore.

That’s what I’m worried will happen
I stopped playing about 10 months ago.
But based on how bad the game is, the amount of storage it takes up on your hard drive and the amount of quality games it has to compete with at the moment I’d say it’s going to hit a very low level soon and then probably stay there until halo 6, I’m talking the 10,000ish die hard fans
I’d say it will last but barely. If 343i released Halo 3 Anniversary then it will probably die though. Which may also be the reason they don’t want to release it just yet. Wouldn’t that be embarrassing? A remaster from 2007 having a higher population than their game.
I doubt people will see it as another H5 waiting to happen. I know many people who have started playing other games, but as the new wears off, they are all slowly coming back. Halo 5 will have an update in December to try and compete with the new holiday titles, and then I’m guessing another mid to late February or March to get people through to E3 in June. I personally am hoping for 3 more updates prior to the E3 event and whatever they have up their sleeves as far as H3 anniversary or Halo 6 teaser video.

It has plenty of time IMO. I played Halo long after most online were claiming “it’s dead”. I guess some can’t handle not playing a game that has a ton of others playing or something. just because it doesn’t have an over flowing population doesn’t mean it’s not fun to play.

Exactly. I play on making the grind to 152 regardless of people claiming halo is “dead”. People will always play Halo
I reckon it’ll endure (but perhaps not with an overflowing population, like LethalQ said). It’s desensitising hearing many crying wolf about how Halo 5’s dead or dying, when nothing concrete is bring brought up to support.

second part no, 343 truly is ignorant as they continuously bomb game after game yet h1-3(3 being the golden peak) all progressed. Seriously hope you’re not saying going back to what WORKED is ignorant, cause I’d love to see a basis to it.

I loved Halo, this is true, but H5 has taken that love and crushed into a fine powder, then tossed said powder into the nearest incinerator, I have no love for “343” Halo anymore, especially at the cost of the Community actually having a chance to be heard AND listened to.

I hope so, but it will take a big hit once Halo Wars 2 launches hopefully it will be able to recover.
