How much in-game time does it take to get to 152?

I know that it varies due to boosts and a few other factors. I just want to know about the average time it takes to get there.

The lowest 152 playtime I’ve seen is under 40 days with nearly all of the playtime in Warzone.

Contrast this with me who rarely used boosts until level 150 and exclusively played arena. I am ~750k away from 152 but I have around 120 days.

So what you’re saying is that Warzone is one of the fastest ways to get xp… because that is a huge difference

You already said it lol, depends on boosts and game type. For instance I never really touch arena and I stick mostly with Warzone, Im 147 at the moment and not that much game time played in terms of days.

Actually I did an experiment and you can earn about equal amounts of XP in arena as warzone with boost/jackpots. But warzone typically pays a bit more. I have been grinding the majority of my XP in heroic warzone firefight. But if an arena playlist has a star next to it and you use it a boost you can earn quite a bit of XP.

I gotcha, is Firefight or regular Warzone better for more xp? It seems like I don’t earn a good amount of xp per time in game when I play FF(unless I have a high quality boost), and I only get a good amount of xp when a regular Warzone game ends with a triple cap.

Firefight is the better option, being a lot less stressful and more consistent in terms of payout.

Boost all pay the same depending on level… Jackpots can pay a varied amount. I like heroic warzone firefight because it’s the most relaxed fun playlist to grind and games can end quickly if you have players willing to use their reqs. Regular warzone can be stressed especially if and when you run into teams farming for Achilles armor so they drag the game out for kills.

I understand. I just had a firefight game and we lost for some reason. Does anyone have that list of which weapons work for each boss? I used to have it but now I can’t find it.

It is, but you need to play with a team so you can end the game quickly while getting the most XP. The games can last too long playing solo.

Generally, vehicles are the best option since they don’t run out of ammo.

For weapons, plasma pistols are good on Wraiths because if you hit it enough times the Elite will sometimes get out and it can also flip a Phaeton once it drops out of the air causing the same thing. Aside from that, the splinter turret and other heavy weapons would work well on Wraiths. Plasma pistols also good for Elite bosses since you can take out their shield quickly with it.

The void’s tear is good for Ghost bosses since it will flip the Elite out of the Ghost so you can shoot or splatter him and the plasma caster is also good for early round Ghost bosses.

The splinter turret is good for early round Knights, Hunters and Wraiths. The splinter turret solder bosses can be taken out quickly with splinter nades, melee in the back or a Spartan ability like charge or ground pound and then shoot them in the head. They’re usually round 1 or 2 so it’s not hard to kill them.

The Endgame laser is good for Banshee bosses and Phaetons since you can get a lot of hits with it although you’ll see more damage with certain rounds compared to others with Phaetons using any laser.

For the Grunt Mech, you’ll get a few different answers for this since different weapons can take his shield out quickly. I’ve heard a laser, the sorrow of tesh and also a binary rifle for example. Once his shield is gone, then just headshot the Grunt.

For round 5 Hunters and Knights, the Tartarus gavel can work well, but you need to get a little close and I’d imagine most of the higher end rockets or incin cannons would do some damage.

Haven’t tried anything with Warden, but I think most weapons would do similar damage on him so it’s probably best to just stick with a heavy vehicle.

Thank you!

If I am not going to use vehicles my weapon of choice is as follows, the answer is great for any boss and I will sometimes put on over shield as well, but aim for their weak spots with it if you can. Twin jewels works great against the warden especially if you can shot the orb on his back. White scar or scourge of fire work great against hunters and knights but if you use a charged shot aim for the ground near them as some times they can deflect your shot sending way off. SPNKR EX works awesome against them as well, same thing shoot near their feet. Grunt mechs can be finished quickly if you are a beast and shoot the canaopy enough until it breaks and then get a head shot on the grunt inside. Now this can be tough because he is down in there and you get the best shot at his head from the side. Tough shot to land though with him moving around or your team getting in the way. The twin jewels can take the canaopy down pretty quick and use the DMR for the head shot.

Grab a Ghost within the first two rounds and splatter everything in rounds 3 and possibly 4 (depending if Bashees or Phaetons spawn, in which case get out and spawn rockets, lasers etc.)

If the final round is hunters/ wardens, get a wraith (preferably a temple - higher DPS) and spam shots into them, with hunters a lot of AI spawn so you can spawn kill them,an example would be Stormbreak - you can splatter the first 3 elites off of spawn and then boost all the way to the home base and spawn kill the hunters and the AI for the easy W.

I appreciate all the tips! I’ll definitely try them out
