How much have 343's resources been throttled since launch?

I’m curious if anyone has any insight into this. We’ve all heard numbers from $100-500 million, but I’m curious how the reception of the game and just general standard practices have impacted the ongoing investment in the game.

It is mind blowing to me that so little content can come from such a massive budget and so much time, and clearly a lot of the work on the game isn’t even 343.

Despite graphical improvements, I was astonished by how incomplete the game was after a year of delay… but I’m starting to suspect that things have slowed down at 343 quite a bit since launch… I mean hot fixes for BTB have taken weeks and weeks and weeks, and incredibly simple fixes like visors being off center won’t come for… checks notes months? That probably puts any of the missing campaign content, weapons, vehicles etc. at least a year out…

Where’d all the money go?

Oh look at the lovely, if short lived, little bump MSFT stock had at launch…

It would be interesting to find out, mainly because with 500 million and 2 shops running Bungie was able to produce 2 games, and 343 can’t even move forward with this beta.

Edit: IMO there really isn’t any excuse for this game to be lacking as bad as it is with all the resources that were provided. I guess the question would actually be, what is 343/Microsoft’s main goal here because it sure as hell isn’t creating a complete game.

I think they’ve really got a skeleton crew already.

It worries me that they can’t quickly centre the neon helmet attachment and we have to wait until season 2 in a couple of months.
