So in honor of Halo 2 coming back online I want to do something pretty fun, and interesting
1-Look up your old Halo 2 stats (bungie.net should still have them
2-Share how many games, kills, deaths and assists you have
3-Share your old Xbox Live Halo 2 gamertag.
4-If you do, what was your first Halo 2 MM match?
And lets see what kinda things we get.
Total Games=13518 (not counting offline/campaign)
Kills=51405
Deaths=37535
Assists=12730
Gamertag was Microkiller 5. Which I wanted to have the GT “Killer90” but it noped and it made it that. I didn’t wanna deal with changing it so it stuck.
And Ivory tower team slayer. Damn it was fun as -Yoink-.
I mostly played customs due to the modding in matchmaking, so I don’t think this is very accurate, but here it is:

I played quite a bit of campaign and customs, didn’t start playing matchmaking until the game was pretty much dead though.
my og gamertag was lost a long time ago so i’ll never know my actual stats but i estimate that i played around 150 MM games and well over 1000 customs probably more in the range of 5000.
I hardly played much of the multiplayer; I used a one-month trial (remember how many games came with those!?) that was expired, so my mother was charged a week later on her credit card and forced me to cancel my subscription. I had fun with the few dozen games I played, but there weren’t enough to have any solid memories apart from my first game and a couple others.
But the campaign? Halo 2’s campaign literally shaped my life. Prior to it coming out, I had the craziest of visions as to how the final game would play, and what kind of locations and events we’d experience. The game’s release was nothing like it (but I did take those ideas and put them into an FPS I’ve been working on for almost a decade) but I still really loved the game. I played the campaign practically every day, whether I was playing properly or just messing around. There was even a period of about six months where I played the game from start to finish every single night, and when the credits would roll and the final song started playing, I would stare at the back of my Limited Collector’s Edition case, thinking about the kind of feels that image and my thoughts gave me before the game came out.

gave away my accounts, though i played it as much as halo 3 and reach…so anywhere between 75-90 days in MM and customs
99% of these games were in ranked playlists because that’s what me likes.
My K/D would be a LOT better if the cheaters hadn’t started. By the end, you’d get cheated 3 times out of 4; some of those games being games you’d spawn and instantly die for 12 mins.

Where exactly are you finding H2 stats on Bungie.net?
I had to make a second account (my main account now) due to idiotic reasons back in 2008.
I first got Xbox Live in December of 2006 and I first played Halo 2 in the beginning of 2006 so there was a lot of offline time in campaign and splitscreen and I was 13 when I first got Xbox Live.
the total amount of time I played is not in the record books. For a good portion of my halo 2 online experience it was spent on a friends account over at his house. Back then I didn’t have internet so it was mostly LAN parties and xbox live
Can’t find my original stats but I remember looking at the iron colored special edition my
older brother got and I would play in his account but he would only let me play 6v6 (old school) so I wouldn’t mess up his ranks lol
I finally had my own account when I was like 14 I think within a year or two before halo 3 came out. but before i stopped playing 2 I got a 30 in team slayer.
soooo many hours and stats lost
