I was curious about how much I’ve played of H5 in about a month and half compared to other Halo Games (lifetime totals):
H5 – 543 games
MCC – 227 games
H4 – 1,673 games
Reach – 4,226 games
H3 - 3,341 games

Ive played Halo 5 the least and the rest more simply because I found them more enjoyable than Halo 5, the features and just about everything else I found great AT LAUNCH and they just kept me coming back. I haven’t played Halo 5 in a long time.

Or you’ve played it the least because it hasn’t even been out a month and half yet. But whatever.
And stop jumping on the more content at launch bandwagon. The way games are made and shipped has changed and it’s not going back. It’s not just Halo 5 that shipped “with less content”.

Seriously! Look at Battlefront? Granted it’s EA Games… but holy crap what a -Yoink- show.

Or they have the same amount of game making time as years ago but are working with more complicated stuff like framerate, graphics, etc. Takes more of their time.
Some of my Halo stats of games played. Some are estimated since the sites don’t always update properly.
Halo 2 = 3,853 mp games played
Halo 3 = 4,000+ total games played including co-op campaign
Halo Reach = 1,685 total games played including co-op campaign
Halo 4 = 2,600+ games total played including co-op campaign, Spartan ops, and mp. This does not even include my many hours in Forge.
TMCC = 450 games total including co-op campaign and mp
Halo 5 = 220+ including Arena, Warzone, and co-op campaign. I didnt buy H5 at launch so I had a late start. Truly loving Warzone. Also keep in mind some of the H5 Warzone times can be very long and can easily count as 2 games for 1 warzone game. Also playing a lot of Fallout 4, RSS, and BO3.

General consensus is that it’s a half-baked game that gets stale pretty quick. People are also very bitter that they announced a $50 DLC right after launch of a $60 game.
Haven’t played arena since Fallout was released. I was always an Action Sack player, so everything else just isn’t as fun to me. Breakout is cool but yeah, I think I only have 65 Halo 5 matches done since launch.
Games Played
Halo 3 - 3,213
Halo Reach - 394
Halo 4 - 531
MCC - 171
Halo 5 - 226 (WarZone included)
“WTF WHY ONLY 394 GAMES OF REACH?!?!”
I didn’t like it. get over it, move on, thanks. I stuck with H3. Oh and yes, i will also say that i liked Halo 4 more than Reach. I just don’t understand why people love it so much, but if it’s for the same reason i love 3 then i guess i do understand it.

It’s not bad at all, i still own it and play it but the lack of content is astounding. I’ve had it since launch and i have yet to play as a “Hero” character too. It’s definitely battlefront but in no way does it have the feel of the originals… and buying it for $60 after seeing how little content is actually in the game made me want to return it until an “Ultimate edition” comes out in a year or something. Halo 5 has loads more content than Battlefront.

You can sit back and be fine and dandy with unfinished games at launch, but people that actually care are going to say something. No one gives a flying -Yoink- that battlefront is also a ripoff. The MCC was released completely broken, while H5 was released noticeably unfinished with microtransactions and the promise that these microtransactions will finish the game for us. The AAA industry made itself look like a joke this year minus a couple of games. But I guarantee you 343 can’t afford to flop another game release. It’s become evident that more and more people are getting sick of their -Yoink-.

Halo 5 release wasn’t a flop, you’re crazy. If it wasn’t finished, 343 wouldn’t have released it. Get off the hating everything 343 does bandwagon, you guys all sound like a broken record. you all need a new, original argument.
Ive played alot of Halo 5… but its still not good. Reach and 3 were significantly better and halo 4 was still at least a complete game and not " A service"
lately, I have played halo5 for over 2 days … last week when the HCS req pack was released … I actually played 8 straight hours just to get to 80000 Req Points!!

Right because now every game is produced with less content at launch and people are dumb enough to go for it. Yes the times have changed but for the worse because some developers simply cant make a complete game anymore.

Funny your response in fact isn’t a new, original response either. They game isn’t finished because if it was there wouldn’t be updates to it now would there? You forget the past Halo’s gave us more than Halo 5 could ever offer.
Check List
Halo Reach
BtB, Forge, compete Customs, Social playlists, working Theater
Halo 5
Campaign, Warzone, broken customs and broken theater at launch, where is BtB, where is social playlists, Forge, etc. the list goes on and as you can see, 343 isn’t capable of making a complete game at launch when clearly previous Halo were complete at launch. Now yes there are updates that will address these issues but we are talking about now, not later.
To me 343 has taken some small baby steps forward and 3 huge steps backwards.
