How much do Monitors weigh?

And how much would one cost?

Classified. And priceless.

Oh. You meant like Guilty Spark? No clue. :stuck_out_tongue:

Yes, I figured. But I just used him as an example.

But what if I wanted Pennant Tangent?

Meh. Same difference. :stuck_out_tongue:

You’re wrong. There is a world of difference. :frowning:

Close enough for government work.

But not close enough for someone in the market for a pet lightbulb.

Possibly 50-100 pounds, by the looks of them.

But not like weight would matter much!
What I’m wondering about is the shield strength and weapon strength of monitors:

A lot, Forerunner stuff seems to be heavier than normal material appearance, I mean the Promethean Knight weighs something like 440kg!

As for price, monitors are pretty cheap, I believe each Forerunner installation, (not just Halo’s) have one.

From what i saw in RvB Church picked up his monitor body and threw it at Tex, though that is non-canon.

While I can’t answer how much a moniter weighs, I can answer that I’ve seen some computer monitors sell for 30-1,000 dollars.

Oh… you meant forerunner monitors, heh, not sure, its never really specified.

$30 for a monitor? Where are you buying your computer supplies? I just dropped $150 on a 22" one, and I thought that was cheap.

This was my first thought.

At least, we can average the weight of common metals and alloys, and then use that for a solid object of that volume, then compare say, the solid wieght of X common electronic object made of Y metal, vs the same object, but it’s entire volume being composed of Y metal, then average that into the initial solid volume of averaged metals for a monitor’s shape.

I think that one like 343 Guilty spark would weigh 500kg and would cost 10000 moa hamburgers or 75 million dollars.
