How many?

So I tried to get an answer of this on bungie.net but there are just to many trolls there, How many kills do you need for bungie/banhammer to not count you as an afker? Is it like 20-30 or 50-60 what? By the way I am not an afker I am just curious as to how much kills you need to not be qualified as a afker in a firefight game.

So long as you are actually playing the match, I wouldn’t see any reason to worry about such a thing.

Oh its not me thats the problem I just want an answer, Okay so do you know how some people cant play matchmaking but they are godly at firefight, well its the other way around for him (even though he is only average in matchmaking) and he is concerned that he could get banned for afking even though hes not. I told him to not play firefight anymore if he is so worried but he protested me by stating the fact that I am one of his only friends on halo reach, and all I play is usually firefight because I have lately gotten bored of matchmaking, anyway he doesent have an account on bungie.net or here so I am trying to do the research for him to see if he can continue to play firefight with me but not get banned for “afking”. As I stated before there are to much trolls on bungie.net so I didnt get an answer there. So how many kills do you need?

I’m pretty sure they look at more than that. Your entire input is logged I think. If it appears to be normal movement around the map that doesn’t look like you stuck a rubber band on the controller you’re fine.

Alright seems to make sense, do they have that sort of technology though? Plus some people do that trick on the fire button for the assault rifle or the a button for the jump. Also I think some people like to keep taking the same routes after they die, he is one of them should I tell him to be more diverse in movement? I would still feel comfortable if some one would please give me a confirmed number though.

As long as he’s trying to play the game normally, I doubt anything will happen to him. Even if he does get banhammered, I’m pretty sure you can just take the issue up with Bungie and explain his situation to them.

It doesn’t matter for the amount of kills, it’s all about your cR Progression in-game, you could get a majority of the kills on the first round and AFK the rest of the game and get caught, they monitor your cR Progression if the game looks odd, if they see for the final two rounds that you have not received any cR, they will check a few more, if it’s the same case, you will get banned.

The System is smart.

I don’t think you will get a number. If they said you have to get x amount of kills to not be considered AFC, people would get that number of kills and then go make a sandwich.
