I don’t want to open my golds before I’m done with the silvers but I just want to have an estimate how long that road is going to be for me.
Already opened 50 silvers at least got 500k reqs waiting to open another 100 would 250 packs in total do it ? Or is it even more than that ?

I calculated mine, 20 packs left!!! I’ve been counting down since 99.

Does silver also give you the common ones ? or does bronze only give those ?

Yes, you can get two certifications if you’re lucky, but usually there’s at least one visual customisation.

You should get two permanent unlocks per silver. Whether that is a vehicle, weapon, armor or whatever is indeterminate. Sometimes you should get an emblem that won’t count towards your two unlocks anymore.

So 413 reqs I need to get. Hopefully shermits comment about getting 2 perm reqs per silver is true so I’d only need to open 207 silver packs instead of 413 lol.
For 400 packs I’d need 2million reqs which is a bit impossible for someone with limited time as me. Grinding isn’t an option and buying isn’t an option (did that once and that’s it).

In my calculations I halved the number of unlocks to get the number of required silver packs as they do indeed guarantee two permanent unlocks if available.
Here are the pack descriptions:
Gold Pack: Gold REQ Packs contain a large amount of Uncommon to Legendary REQs. 2 REQs will be permanent unlocks, if available.
Silver Pack: Silver REQ Packs contain Common to Rare REQs. 2 REQs will be permanent unlocks, if available.
Bronze pack: Bronze REQ Packs contain Common REQs with a chance at a permanent unlock.
I once did a list of every current items classed by their Rarity and the “best” pack to open them. So here you get it

I think a few of the Mongooses (Common REQs) only appear in Bronze packs for some reason. I remember reading a thread about it a while ago.
I think it’s the Corp, ONI, Tundra and Urban Mongoose variants. Personally I’ll come back to those once I’ve finished with the Gold packs. I don’t want to be opening Bronze packs when I can open Gold
I think it’s probably an error on 343i’s part as I don’t understand why you can’t get them in Silver packs.

But there are some stuff that you can’t unlock by packs so it’s not 100% precise (at least, it just go down!).
