So I was curious on how many Silver packs is required before depleting all the “Undesirables” from the pack. So I did some simple math, I added all the Common, Uncommon and Rare req items (Armor, Guns, Skins, Power Ups/Weapons, ect) and according to my math, you’ll need to unlock around 305~ Silver packs so that Gold packs will always open Ultra-Rare, Legendary and Mythic Items. Just so you know, 305 Silver packs is around 1525000 Req Points. Each Game of Wargames is around 20 min and gives around 2000 Req so, you’lll need around 254 Hours of playing Halo 5 in either Arena or Wargames. This maybe shorter due to Req Boost you can acquire from the silver packs but this is just barebones with, winning or losing, without req boosts. That said, good luck spartans, and have fun!
I just finished silvers yesterday! I was excited to see 3000 RP in the place of my 2 permanent unlocks. Now its on to the good stuff in gold. Now its going to feel like a real grind because I’m opening less packs.

I’m getting close. Over half way in uncommon and rare.
It took me until like SR72. It’s probably a bug but at the moment silver packs can give you a legendary certification for the Oni Gauss Turret, I got it on my second to last silver and my last silver gave me two emblems.
