How many rounds to kill: BR vs DMR

Has anyone been able to piece together how many shots both weapons take to kill someone? Either in the head or body. And by shots, I mean trigger pulls. I don’t count the three bullets from the BR burst as individual shots.

Im not sure but I think

DMR - 5

BR - 5

DMR-5 shot kill
BR-5 shot kill
Pistol-5 shot kill

Am I the only one that doesn’t get how that works?

Isn’t the pistol a 6 shot kill? Or was that changed?

I’m pretty sure it’s like this:

DMR: 5sk
BR: 5sk
Carbine: 7sk (last i heard from someone)
Pistol: 6sk

I’d out BR the DMR any day

Depends on LAG

And how bad you are

What about headshots and what about the lightrifle (scoped and unscoped)

is the dmr more long range the br

Its been 6 months, let sleeping dogs lie.

Yes the dmr is more long range than the br.

Was this necro really needed?

I was gonna be mad about you posting in such an old thread but your gamertag is way to epic for that

BR is a 4sk, provided you can hit them with the entirety of every burst (Individual shots its 11)

DMR - 5

BR - 5

For the record, i always end up DMR’ing the BR users.

I know alot of these! I just tested this a while ago!

These are the shots it takes to kill with a headshot.

BR: 5
DMR: 5
Magnum: 6
Carbine: 8

As with the update, it’s 4 BR shots or 5 DMR shots, as long as all shots are perfectly landed.

However let us commit this thread back to the abyss.
