Firefight is sort of like cod zombies, I miss it tbh. I think fire fight should return and should have a lot of special tender attention paid to it by 343.
Is is fire fight very popular among the masses? Or was Spartan ops the new thing that’s here to stay in place of fire fight?

I personally liked Spartan ops. But if I had to choose firefight would get it, and I’m pretty sure it will make some sort of return.
Firefight has so much potential in Halo 5 with all the new and potential enemies to have in Firefight. It could have covenant, prometheans (whether they’re in Halo 5 or not, idk but they’re in Spartan Ops which takes place after Halo 4 so…), flood and everything in between.

I personally don’t need firefight or ask 343 to do it.
But Firefight seem to me like a nice side project that certain affinity can do and the just slap it on DLC and stick it to the MCC.
MAYBE even a paid DLC because I think the need for firefight in the community is rather divided and it’s up to MS to say if a free firefight would drain from new content and that would be something I wouldn’t agree with

I would love to see Firefight return to compliment the multiplayer training simulation aspect. Spartans need to train in how to kill the enemies they will actually be fighting, instead of fighting other Spartans who, whilst good for reflexes and weapons training, just don’t simulate what fighting a hoard of angry Elites is like. Spartan Ops was cool, but couldn’t replace Firefight.
Having complete control over enemies and their weapons would be awesome. Imagine having Covenant(with Brutes regardless of whether they are in Campaign or not), Prometheans/Forerunner(Including Sentinels. Miss fighting those things), Flood, and dare I say it, even Humans. Don’t think Humans would be fun to fight? Play Halo 4’s 6th mission, the one with the Pelican. Before you get in the Pelican, start killing the NPCs in the Hanger. When they fight back it can actually be pretty entertaining and challenging.
