Looking to start playing again, but before I buy Gold I just wanted to know if its worth it. Are games quickly found and are they usually full?
Yeah, it is. I play there all the time.
Yeah I recommend it. I havent played in a year and finding friends to play is tedious
still able to find games though. just sucks having a team of garbage players.
Population is low, but stable for now, and certainly adequate to sustain decent search times in the biggest playlists. Not sure what will happen to the population in late October. Normally a new game dropping means a real decline for the older title, but that may not happen here because they’re on different consoles.
Usually quite a few people for a game or so. about 400 ish people normally per playlist apart from BTB which will always have over 1000 when I log on. So playing games will be alright
Still playing, though I’ve been more focused on the flood mode
I haven’t played multiplayer on Halo 4 in a long time, but last time I did, there was a good amount of people playing multiplayer, and finding a game wasn’t much of a problem.
Anyone who’s good at halo
There are like 3 people that still play Halo 4’s matchmaking, Halo 4’s on TMCC.
There’s no reason to play Halo 4 on the 360, except for better armor customization.

There are more playlists available to Halo 4 on the 360. If you’re playing on the MCC and wish to only play Halo 4, you are relegated to a much smaller number of playlists. I hop on from time to time and usually have no issues finding a match.
I’ve had pretty good luck with matchmaking in Halo 4. You don’t always get a match right away, but at the most it will only take about 2 to 3 mins for the game to find players.
At first, I had trouble with the game saying “searching for players…” for a long time and I couldn’t get a match going, but I tried playing matchmaking again a few days later, and I have no trouble finding players now.
Halo 4 multiplayer is really fun, and I would recommend getting XBOX Live Gold for it.
Always go with BTB, i always find players within 10 - 60 seconds.
Beware BTB Slayer, though. The loadouts are horrible. Even if BTBS is on your favorite map, DO NOT VOTE FOR IT. Go with Infinity Slayer if you can find it, you use your own loadouts.
Halo 4 has a pretty low population on the 360, usually not peaking above 2,000.
I recently got back into matchmaking, hoping I could clear some more of my commendations out
It’s just about the only game i play, and I never have a problem finding a match even in the mornings and during slow times.

yep most people playing nowadays aren’t as good as when the game was somewhat new

I’m looking to start playing again was it worth it?
Ugh. I tried playing H4 MP again. I couldn’t even stay around for one game. I honestly can’t think of one thing I did like about H4 MP.

Not trying to be rude, but I wonder if you don’t like it because you’re not as good at it. Looks like you’ve played a lot, but your highest CSR is only level 4. I know I don’t like games as much when I’m not as good at them.
you’ll be able to find a game pretty quickly and usually those games will have good connection. Unfortunately finding team objective and some other game modes have a population of around 100. Message me if you want to play some halo 4 with me,
