I think they shouldnt be included personally. They do very little for gameplay such as making nades useless, uncontrollable jump, and slow strafe.
Look how entire sections of some maps have been changed due to how bad it performs. Zealot is cut in-half, barriers were removed from the one on anchor 9. And i havent even played condemned so idk if it has changed or not.
So do you like it? If so state why please! (and vote)
Personally if they could make the zero G so it somehow acted like zero G combat I think it would be a nice and extremely unique thing to play in and master.
Though I’d imagine it’d be hard to create because every gun would have to have a push back angle with aiming and the speed of the push back passed on RoF or the potentially given bullet speed (which may not be the case with hitscan though if other guns feature recoil that could be used)
I doubt this will happen though :\ So if the return I’ll mostly avoid them cause in Reach and H2 they were rather stale (H2 was just that small portion in campaign.)
I don’t know. I’ve never played in a Zero-G environment except for Mass Effect 2 and Dead Space 2.
It ruins gameplay and lower the skill gap because it’s so easy to kill people and it makes about all the weapons that aren’t hitscan useless.
Why can’t anyone get it right?
It’s micro-G’s or low-G’s but never 0G’s. We need to get to a really, really, really, really, really big void to find 0G’s.
We’re not just gamers, we’re gamers in a SCI-fi game. We don’t have to go FI on the actual SCI.
And of course I don’t want every map to be MG’ed, but I do like variable combat conditions.

Sorry but you’re argument is invalid when you’re talking about an element in a universe where hoola hoops kill people and buttplates can be customized.

Its not realy “variable combat” when the strategy is go to space or your screwed (anchor9 and zealot) or if you go in it, your screwed (condemned)

Currently they arent really hard to master, you move like snails in them and jumping in it is a death sentence.
Nades are almost useless due to jump hieght in it, along with a nerf on rockets.
Also, i dont remember a low-g environment during h2…?

When you moved between Cario station to locate the bomb, there were no low-g elements in multiplayer. You still move the same, it’s just gravity is higher so they don’t really change much between that and normal areas of maps.

ohhh yeaaa…feel dumb for forgetting bout that.
If they did it like Dead space 2 but made it better and put it into first person that would be cool.

Just because we have super cyborg soldiers blowing up hoola-hoops doesn’t mean we can’t get our terms correct when blowing that -Yoink- up.
Bungie and 343i use known science as plot devices that the fiction revolves around. Fiction doesn’t mean -Yoink- is literally pulled out of the -Yoink-, is House completely fictitious even though it is a medical-drama? Does House skimp on the medical because the show is more about the drama than it is the actual medicine?
If you jump and come back down, you certainly aren’t anywhere near a 0G environment OR you have some really, really, really, really, really powerful magnetised boots, more powerful than the science will allow for in MJOLNIR and perhaps even Halo.

That doesn’t make his point any less valid.
There is no such known space that has NO gravity. If you rise and eventually begin to come back down, whether the effect takes a few minutes or a thousand years, then there is gravity.
