Happy weekend guys, i only have 3 days before the flight is over, are many of you still having trouble
trying to play the flight (windows store edition) i downloaded the 10mb client on windows store, i am
using my actual xbox live account/microsoft password, for this. everytime i open the dialog box pops
up and stuck, and doesnt download or anything i asume since anyone would know that a beta or full legal or any version
of a game is bigger than 10mb, unless we all go back in time years ago, when a 10mb was kind like its version of 50gb and up games
anyways, i am not having any luck, i installed, reinstalled several times, first time i downloaded, i really don’t remember this one
dialog box from windows store direct x run time or something iknow of Direct X my computer literacy is pretty high, but not on a
Bill Gates type of level, or Linus Sebastian (LTT) but it couldn’t download or something happen, was kind of out of it, with my
illness, which throws things off at times. Also i have closed the apps most of the major or semi major apps that be, NZXT CAM, Overwolf,
Steam, Core Temp. and several others, googled, found nothing, went to this forum and a few others of ppl mentioning the simular situation that’s
going on with me. Anyone need my DXDIAG or any other info? I also digitally own HMCC (XBOX ONE)
Any advice on how to go by correcting this? I stand for myself and others who may have the
same thing or near identical.??..

Hey there, the MCC Insider app from the Windows Store? If so yes, I’ve downloaded? It was in the neighborhood of 10mb.
And you looked inside the content of the insider app to see if MCC Insider was there?
Yes i have, Once launched, nothing ask for where should i install the game, or anything i could just click it and, it could
watch me cry over it because i cannot install slight cheesy humor inserted trying to find an answer and hope to come up with something
before the 4th, and really want to help others if i know what’s wrong! But appreciate your help, finally a forums i can go to with careful mature folks.
Are you sure you have an email about the windows store invite? Are you logged into the correct account you signed up on waypoint on your computer?

Yes, everything is correct. I changed email addresses, and then went to it, it stated i needed to have MCC for XBOX ONE or be a halo insider member to play it. i am using the email address thats linked to my XBOX LIVE, but now that you mention it, my halowaypoint.com account that i have my invite to play MCC on Windows 10 gaming platform kind of confused now
Earlier in the thread Strictcleave asked if you had the Xbox Insider app and you responded about the MCC Insider App, I think that’s where you are going wrong. You want to go to the Store app on your PC and search for Xbox Insider Hub, download and launch that. Once you open it you should see an option to join the MCC Insider flight, which will then give you an option to launch the game download page from the store.
if you don’t see MCC Insider when you launch the Xbox Insider Hub, then that means you aren’t logged in with the same details used to sign up for the Insider program. After you’ve logged in with the correct account you will be able to see it.
If you still don’t see it then the only other reason is that you don’t actually have an invite to the flight? Double check the email you received that had your flighting information, it should let you know whether you were selected to take part in the Steam flight or the Windows Store flight.

The only thing that will guarantee you getting into a flight is meeting the criteria 343 need for that particular flight, that information however, is not public. For future note, please don’t hijack unrelated threads

You really should have your email address the same as your Xbox account (I had mine the exact same for receiving the invites as well as the same email for my Xbox account) when your verified your email in the Insider sign up on here, otherwise if you changed your email address to have the email sent to an address different from your Xbox account address, your access to the build inside the Xbox Insider app for PC (not Xbox) won’t show up I think.

No, more activity on forums doesn’t make a difference. I think the only factors affecting the chance of getting into a flight is having a very high tier PC and being a content creator/streamer. It’s too late now anyway and it seems like the game is nearing its full release now.

While you are correct that forum activity isn’t a factor, having high PC specs and / or being a content creator doesn’t automatically increase your chances. Specs of all kinds are sought out for testing so that a wide range of configurations can be tested. Being active in a flight and providing feedback are pretty much the only thing that will give you a higher weighting of being selected

Probably best to start your own topic, but if your build download is only 10mb you’re not getting the right build. It should be 10gig
