How many nades can you have in Halo 4?

There are 3 kinds, how many of each can you have? The classic 4 or the newly rationed 2?

Hopefully 4, but I have no idea.

Up till now only 2 types of grenades have been announced (frags and plasmas) and so far I have yet seen anyone holding more than two of each but that may be because salvaging grenades off dead players is no longer a default ability. I have heard however one of the tactical packages you can pick for a loadout allows you to spawn with an extra grenade so it might be 4 of each.

The problem is that we don’t know how many grenades there is.

Frag, plasma and apparently the Promethean EMP grenades. That’s three so far, and all liklihood points to there being more. So most likely its just two.

I assumed if there were to be a promethean grenade it would be an emp. Hopefully not like Halo3’s emp field but more of an emp discharge/ explosion deal. Where did you hear about this?

If Promethean weapons are built to combat the flood (disintegrate biomass) why would they have an EMP Grenade, surly it would be an incendiary?

I hope there will be 4 of each grenades in Campaign and spartan ops, but 2 or 3 on multiplayer depending, how many differend grenade types there are.

So far, there are two grenade types confirmed (frag and plasma). In campaign, I noticed The Chief could carry four of each grenade type but on MP, you can only carry two of each type.
