How many missions are there in the Campaign?

Sorry if this is obvious or has already been clarified, but I’m just wondering if anybody knows EXACTLY how many levels we will be playing as the Master Chief. Thanks.

The number of missions has no bearing on the length of the game. They are supposed to be very long missions other than the first one.

Mission # has no say in campaign length, its been confirmed to be a Halo sized campaign.

The original bioshock had 8 chapters and that game took me over 15 hours. It’s not based on chapters, but they are still classified as such being part of the shooter genre.

They are handled differently on every game… and chapters do not equal the length of a video game. Just for future reference.

You have to take into consideration difficulty and how good the person is also.

I say chapters because that’s how a friend of mine at 343i described it to me.

Yeah thats why i said IGN, because yeah…sometimes they don’t know what they are talking about.

The released achievement list has 8 missions listed as getting any achievement.
