How many individual BR bullets drop a shield?

I have been asking this in the BR threads that popped up, but nobody has given a conclusive answer so far.

Anyway, the full question is: how many individual Battle Rifle or (unscoped) Light Rifle bullets are needed to drop a shield? Both are 5 shot kills and have three bullet bursts, so the ammount of bullets to drop a shield is anywhere between 12 and 14 (so in the 5th burst, bullet 13/14/15 will kill if it’s a headshot).

Another question, has anyone compared the precision weapons’ reload times?
